Mr. jackson listed his web hosting business on craigslist.com recently.

When i Contacted Mr. Jackson to inquire and ask for a list of clients and their domains, he sent me a list of domain names with all log in info, then proceeded to contact me via phone and pretend to be at the police station ready to sign a warrant if i don't pay him $1,000.

He then claims to sell custom PC's through his business, but the photos he posts on his website and craiglist ads are clearly photoshopped as you could see watermarks that don't belong to him.

Capitol City Trading IS NOT a Scam

AUTHOR: Capitol City Trading - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, October 04, 2012

I had offered over 40 domains for sale on Craigslist for a total of $1000 as a single domain that I own is worth between $900 and $4500 depending on who does the appraisal.  This person (Jason Davenport) said he was interested in knowing some of the domain names and I accidentally sent him a list of the domain names with passwords instead of just the domain names.  After a little while, Mr. Davenport came back with an offer of $40 which I told him was UNACCEPTABLE and that I had accidentally sent him too much information on the domains and that I trust he would not use that information unless we came to an agreement and the sale finalized.  I heard nothing else from him but around noon started getting security alerts from my hosting company that information was being changed.  After a quick investigation, I found that Mr. Davenport had changed my reseller password, email password and attempted to take ownership of the domains in question.  I contact the data security company to shut down his IP address from the server.  After about 45 minutes we were able to get the domains stabalized before any damage could occur.  I did in fact talk with the Police Department concerning this matter and they told me I could file an attempted theft warrant since nothing was actually stolen or damaged and could file additional charged under Alabama's Computer Crime laws.  Since the incident was relatively minor and the situation had been resolved we did not pursue charges at that time.  The entire phone conversation between myself was recorded along with saving the emails exchanged.

Mr. Davenport has also has gone to the extent of posting negative comments concerning our business which is totally false and we will pursue that with our attorney on different ground as well as letting all of his customers know his true reputation.  Our company advertises and sells only quality parts not "low dollar" cases and parts as Mr. Davenport claims.  If we purchased "low dollar" products as Mr Davenport claims, why in the world would we warranty our products for a full three years?

Mr. Davenport's actions here and on Craigslist have shown that he was not satisfied with my non-acceptance of his $40 domain offer and that he would rather face legal charges in this matter.  We are going to accomodate Mr. Davenport in his endevour and hope that we can resolve this matter in the near future.

Just to give you a little additional information on Mr. Davenport:
- Jason was on the "Greg Buddell" show for a short time as a call screener / produer
- Jason was on Mix 103 as "Jason Knight".
- Jason is current owner of River Region Media, River Region Radio and a couple other things
- Jason's twitter name is cigarguy7703
- Jason's facebook name is radioguy7703
- Jason's home address is known along with his cell phone number and home phone number
