Capitol Tax Fraud Misrepresentation Ripoff Unethical Conduct Woodland Hills California

In 2003 my company engaged Capitol Tax to handle an IRS/941 problem. After signing an agreement and granting Capitol Tax the authority to act as our agent and paying them $3000.00 we were givin the royal run around by their supposed tax expert.

We provided all documents requested only to be told they never received them. So we sent them again and was again told they never received them BUT the supposed tax expert had all the figures from the missing paperwork.

Then we were told they could not proceed with our case until we filed the missing paperwork with the IRS. So I used The Tax Advocacy Service in Wichita, Kansas to file the missing forms. The forms were filed successfully with the IRS but again Capitol Tax never got the copies. I faxed and mailed copies twice but they never did receive them. After several months of attempting to contact them they just quit answering their phones or returning messages.

Shortly after this fiasco the IRS issued a warning about this type of company representing themselves as tax experts that could solve your tax problems. Did I mention the "Tax Expert" could'nt speak english? The tax problem is currently being resolved with a reputable accountant. Don't be fooled by these folks and if you have an extra $3000.00 to lose pay your tax bill with it.
