Car Toys Bellevue Car Toys Mechanical failure from radio installation Seattle Washington

On 8/2 I was looking forward to having a new radio in my car. I went to Bellevue Car Toys store and had a radio installed. The next day my battery was completely dead and I had to get a new battery.

3 days later, the new battery was completely dead. Since then, I went to the Bellevue Car Toys store 3 times to have them fix the problem that was draining my batteries when the radio was installed. Each time, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the radio installation and that my car is old and it is a freak coincidence that this happened at the same time when they installed the radio.

I then went to another Car Toys in Tukwila and they said that it was the auxiliary amp that needed a relay switch to turn it off when the car is turned off. My battery is now dead again and my car will be sitting at home for 2 weeks until I get paid to diagnosis as to what happened to my car when the radio was installed and have it repaired.

I have not yet been able to enjoy this new radio and so far has cost me in additional $149.00 for a battery and will be costing more when I able to repair my car? The manager at the first store who installed my radio told me that they are not responsible for the battery or any mechanical failures that happened when the radio was installed because his installers do not have experienced with VW Jetta sound systems at this particular store. What it comes down to "Radio installation is at customers own risk." if I did not have a new radio installed by Car Toys, my car would be working fine just as it did prior to the radio installation and I could of saved a lot of money not having to buy a battery and now having to repair my car.
