Now, let me state up front. There are now 22, (yes TWENTY-TWO) people in Omaha, Nebraska who have initiated Better Business Bureau Complaints, filed State Attorney General reports and have worked with Channel 6 in Omaha to air an investigative report on this company. (It will air on 3/10 or 3/11).

The owner of C & A is CAROLE TIPTON and she was a former employee of Bernard Haldane. Want to know how crooked C & A is? Type HALDANE in the search engine of this website and you'll see the kind of scam CAROLE TIPTON is now running with C & A.

All 22 of us KNOW that C & A is NOT a job placement service. CAROLE TIPTON seems to think that is our beef. It is not. It is the broken promises by LISA, GARY DAVIS, DAN GRAUER, DENVER MEYER, DOUG TRITES and others. By the way the last 4, all "Career Counselors" (makes me almost barf to type that) have all been fired or quit.

These "counselors" make all sorts of grandiose promises about putting you in front of decision makers, finding the jobs that are not advertised on the web or in the newspaper and training you to enhance your marketability. They only do the last of those 3 and then, in a very piss poor manner.

They lie about everything. Their decision maker names are often wrong, they don't have an exclusive list of businesses to draw from, and they provide you with a half-a*s seminar, a book and one practice interview for about FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS!

CAROLE TIPTON is the worst of the bunch. She refuses to address client concerns, berates clients who question where their money is going, defames and demeans clients in front of others, and is running the company into the ground.

Reliable sources indicate the company is considering filing for bankruptcy.

If you pay these CROOKS and CAROL TIPTON even one cent, you are out of your flippin' mind. You might as well wipe your a*s with 4000 one dollar bills and throw it all down the toilet. The stink on the money will smell better than the results you will get from CARLYLE AND ASSOCIATES.

Check with the BBB and ask about how many reports have been filed. The BBB hasn't done squat for us though and continues to give this sham company a "satisfactory" rating.

CAROLE TIPTON and her daugher LISA are rude, obnoxious women who put the $$$$ in front of any common decency or professionalism. They suck at what they do.

Carole Tipton's Business History

It is important that Carole Tipton's history be recorded so as folks are searching to research her company/companies, they are realizing her path from start to finish in the "career development" industry.

A. Carole Tipton used to work for BERNARD HALDANE & ASSOCIATES
(go ahead and search the web looking for BERNARD HALDANE to see what sort of operation BH runs...)

B. IN 1998, Carole Tipton left BH to start her own company, possibly part of a franchise (single company, local branches like McDonald's) called PHILLIPS-CARLYLE INTERNATIONAL.
Carole Tipton/PCI was sued by BH because she trucked out of BH with all their marketing tools. The infamous 3" binder filled with the Day-Long Marketing Seminar information, the "blue sky" job questions, the "self assessment" survey, the "85% of jobs are not published" hook, etc. SHE LOST THIS LAWSUIT! Apparently, she just took the "tools" and techniques BH used to sucker their clients and opened her own company. BH took exception to this, sued Carole Tipton/PCI and won.

C.In 2002, Carole changed the name of her company to CARLYLE AND ASSOCIATES. She did NOT however, change her tactics.
D. In 2003, the name CAREER CONNECT INC, now appears on her communications to clients.

It is clear that Carole Tipton is not sincerely in the business of helping others develop skills in order to secure their "dream" or "blue sky" job. Just like Bernard Haldane, she is apparently in the business of recruiting clients and at best, providing them with a mediocre resume, an overstated "Career Marketing Seminar" day.

My hope is now that she has opened under CAREER CONNECT, that she never gets money from any clients because sites like this one exist and her pedigree is now clearly visible.

This information will be added to all Carole Tipton Ripoff Reports so everyone researching her companies will see it no matter what report they view.
