Carmasters Automobile LLC I was promised that once i change my throttle body, spark plugs and filter that my car will be in perfect condition. I was ripped off $870. Norfolk virginia

I called carmaster Automotive llc that I will like to flush my transmission fluid because my car jerks and I think either the transmission or moto mount is bad. I was advised to bring the car in for diagnosis. I took the car in for diagnosis and I was informed there was no problem with my transmission. The service adviser that spoke with me told me that I only need to change my throttle body, spark plugs and filter. she also informed me that once I replace everything listed my car will be in perfect condition.

I asked her if she was sure and she said yes. She charged me over $1000, I told her I could not afford the price and she brought the price down to about $910 and I was told that if I pay cash I will get %4 discount. I was called the next day that the job was complete and my car drives fine. I paid $870 and immediately I drove off I discovered that my car was doing the same thing it was doing before I took it to the shop (Jerking). I called the shop and I was told to bring my car back, I went back and they told me my car has a transmission problem. I told the guy that worked on my car to either give me my money back or fix my car because they first told me my car didn't have a transmission problem and they made me pay them $870 and now they told me my car has a transmission problem.

The guy that worked on my car said the service adviser that spoke with me didn't tell him that I brought my car in because of transmission problem. He agreed to refund my labor fee because he knew there was communication gap between himself and the service adviser ( the lady I spoke with). The owner of the business told the mechanic that worked on my car that the money has to come out of his pocket and he will not refund me. I didn't want to leave the premises and the owner called the police. When police came I told him everything that happened, he spoke to the owner, he advised the owner to refund me but the owner insisted. The police advised me to report the case or take the case to court.
