Carmel Financial They violate FCRA, report falsely to CRA's and refuse to make it right. Carmel, Indiana

           Let me start by saying that this company is scammers and have no rspect for the  laws set forth  to protect us a consumers. I know this debt is not my husbands nor mine. They filed a fixture lien on a home in November 2010 in my husbands name, when we sold this this home in May 2007.It can nto be our debt SO here is what has been done.  

           After pulling my husbands credit report we found and entry for Carmel Financial, we had no idea who they were and why they were trying to collect $4500 dollars from us. I filed disputes on 1/27/2012 with the credit reporting agencies and they supposedly verified the debt on 2/22/2012.

            We then sent a letter demanding validation of this debt with Carmel Financial that went unanswered, then filed a demand for removal from the CRA's which also went unanswered. They did however renew the claim on the CR showing a now $5000 dollar amount.

           Taking all the information, confirmation reciepts of delivery and letter's I again sent it to the CRA's which has to allow another 30 days to resolve this matter.  Carmel Financial is renewing this debt on the CR every week now that we have filed the complaints and continueing to violate FCRA statute 623.

          We try calling the company to discuss them removing this false and erroneous claims only to be told they do not have to talk to us. Their CFO Joseph Helstrom, even knew exactly who I was and what was going on but refused to give any information. Even went as far to say that he had not recieved paperwork in which I have confirmation of reciept. 

           This company has ruined our chances to purchase a home, they have ruined our credit, tested all patience. This company is out for the buck no matter at what cost, what laws they break to get there.. This is not our debt, they have failed to provide ANY proof that it is. 

           Carmel Financial is nothing but a bunch of crooked scamming idiots. If anyone comes to you with them as a financial backer, I would run.... Also please make sure you are not a victim of their scandalous ways.
