As an update, there have now been several calls and complaints to Senator Basnight's office as well as numerous complaints filed with the US Postal Inspectors office.

While all of these complaints and filings,collectively, are not gaurenteed to give us back our deposits or furniture, I believe they are steps to moving Mr. Privette closer to some type of federal conviction.

I urge everyone to file complaints with Senator Basnight's (NC Senator)office as well as with the Postal Inspectors office in Chicago. Reference is made to both of these locations in the most current updates files with this site.

I did speak with contact at both offices today and both are proceeding with "across the states" investigations on a federal level.

I do believe that there will be federal charges filed against Mr. Privette in the near future.

I hope everyone involved with this scam continues to pursue every avenue available to them and will advise all of us, via this site, of any useful info....including successes in collecting back deposits owed to them.

I felt bad knowing I lost $4,300 in deposits, but I understand that the lost deposits for others range anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 individually.
