I have never had one email me like this to pay 500 now or the end resulthwill be in the amount of 9700. and legal action. I pulled attorney up on the web and the address and phone no were different. So I sent an email to the office the real att. works at and to try to verify and I dont thnik they understood my question. they thought I wanted that attorney and hes not taIking new clients.

Ignore the scam, you don't need a lawyer

It's clearly a scam email, so you can ignore it. Also, the real lawyer isn't taking new clients and lawyers don't give free advice. So they aren't going to review the email for you or get back to you. If you want a lawyer's advice on anything you will have to pay them. Next time just ask the local police (call the non-emergency number, not 911) if you are uncertain about a potential scam and they will help for free.
