Cash Advance USA Called me, said my SS# was being investigated, I owed Cash Advance USA money that I never ever3 applied for. I was told I'd be arrested. Washington, District of Columbia

   I received a message on my cell phone and the man on the phone said my SS# was being investigated and I needed to call him immediately to avoid any legal action or being arrested.

   I called him back because I was extremely concerned.  I didn't have any idea what he was talking about.  When I spoke to him I couldn't understand him well, but I think he said his name was Officer ?? Marshall. 
  
   He said he had proof that I took out a loan with Cash Advance USA and I owed them the money, that I was going to be arrested.  I told him I never applied for a loan with Cash Advance USA and I didn't have any idea at all what he was talking about.

   He got smart with me and told me to let him talk, because by this time I was getting very upset because I knew I never got a loan from them and he couldn't arrest me for something I didn't do.  He kept on threatening me, telling me the same thing over about having proof, etc. I have been getting calls lately by a loan place telling me I was accepted and I needed to respond, it sounded like the same man.

   After we talked I looked up Cash Advance USA and saw a couple of links regarding them being a scam.  Bingo!  This man was trying to pull something with me.  I got so angry at him and was yelling at him, I hope this gave that man the message that something wasn't right at all, because I know for a fact I never applied for a loan with Cash Advance USA.

   Now I have to go to my bank tomorrow morning and get a different account because I'm afraid this jerk will take my money out of my bank.
