I took my loan of $5000 out last summer, 2006.I know that I am 100% responsible for the money I borrowed and am fully aware of the interest rate involved. I don't dipute that I owe it and by no means is it my intention to flake on the loan. Circumstances beyond my control have made it a difficulty to pay my payments. I explained this to Cash Call on more than one occasion. Every day they call, and everyday I explain the same things to them. They are probably some of the most vicious people I have ever dealt with in my life-on any level for anything.

Recently, I told them my intentions, I would make my payment on certain day (which was about 8 days late on the second of 2 payments due). I agreed that I would take the hit on my credit for the 30 day late-after all it is my responsibility. However, I was told that if I did not have the payment wired and in their office by 9 pm that night (it was about 8:20), I would be in default and they would only accept the full balance. So I told them to do what they had to do. Two days later they call me and ask me what is going on and why is my payment late. I again explained my position, and then told the guy, Chris, to never call me again. The harrasment was beginning to make me ill-literally. My phone rang about 20 times a day-no less than every 30 minutes-at work, home and cell. I have been told that "they will come to my house and break my kneecaps for their money, because it is just like a loan shark" and that if "I paid my bills" they would not have to call me; and that it is not a "question of morals if I have to choose between paying them and helping a terminally ill family member, because they want their money"

Finally I decided to have my number disconnected at home and cell. I sent them a certified letter requesting they do not contact me at work. I made it perfectly clear that my address has not changed. They continue to call my work. I tried to poay them, make arrangements, be honest-they could have cared less.

I would love to see a class action suit against this company for all of the harrassment and suffering thay have caused the tons of people who relied on them in a time of need. Not sue them cause I owe them, because I take full repsonsibility for that obligation, but to bring them down for they way they cause people who need help-to feel like worthless individuals. God help you Cash Call employees, you reep what you sow, and eventually you may find yourself in the same situation-and I hope someone treats you as badly as you treat everyone else...

Tape recorder...

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

Get a tape recorder with a phone pickup. Everytime they call, start it up and simply say "This call is being recorded." and it's all nice and legal. Those simple words are guaranteed to reduce the number and intensity of the calls.

And if you get them on tape threatening to break your knees or something similar, you don't owe them anything any more. In fact it's the opposite.
