I needed to get funds fast for my dads funeral so I called the number on tv.At first everything was okay until I found out what the interest rate was. I called to see about getting the interset rate lowered. They said I agreed to the interest and they would not lower it for any reason.I did keep paying it but after a few month I just couldnt.
so I called back to see about other payment arrangments. They said there was nothing they could do about it. They said if I didnt keep paying they would make my life misrable.
There are some things we can do to get these people to stop what they are doing. It is not a quick fix but it can stop the phone calls.
Contact the FTC and file a complaint, also the NACA. There are things we can do. I'm getting some information from a lawyer who is trying to help me for free. If there is anything he can do I'll post his phone number for anyone else who needs the help. I also told my boss about it and they have been very supportive and have forbid cash call from calling them.
Call the people that you used as referances let them know what cash call is doing. I know thats hard, but that what cash call counts on, you being to ashamed to do anything. Let your referances now they can say they dont know anything and request them not to call again. If cash call calls again they are breaking the law.
Yes I did borrow the money with every intention of paying it back. But when the company is not being fair to you then why be fair to them?
When I got in financial trouble every creditor I had worked out something with me except cash call. They wont keep getting away with it if we all do something. You can file a complaint online at naca and ftc web sites.
I'm not letting them get away with this. Get a copy of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) this will tell you what your rights are.

You say that they are not playing fair so why should you. Thats lame. You needed money, and they were fine for you till you hit a bump. Now they are leeches. You should know what you are agreeing to, and if you don't, you have no one else to blame.
My brother has had dealings with them, also, and he knew what the consequences were for not making payments on time. Of course, he missed a couple payments and he went ballistic. Its not their fault!!! It was HIS, yet he was screaming they are harassing him and he's going to sue them and on and on. Bottom line was he had to pay it off.
You needed money, they gave it to you, and now that you can't pay it back, THEY are the leeches? They did their part, and expect you to do the same. Simple. You should have known going in that these places charge 2 arms and 2 legs, and they are banking on you falling short. I realize that there are times when you are desperate, and these kind of places are just waiting for you. I hope you can sort it out.

Send an email to Ed (he owns this site) and ask if he would be willing to forward emails to you to pursue this. If he agrees than I think it would be a simple matter to have folks send their information to you via ed.
Or you could ask ed for an exception to his policy. If he agrees, he might very well let you post your email address.
Either way, I think your best move would be to discuss (email) the matter with Ed.

I dont know if this will go anywhere but I talked to the lady who wrote the story about Cash Call in the LA Times so she could here our side of the story,she cant print our side without proof of what the company is doing to us. She said if I could get some proof from 2 paople she will print a story on how they are treating us. The company will never know who we are. I'm willing to do this, is any one else? I also emailed alot of news people. Like I said I dont know if this will go anywhere, but I'm going to fight back. I dont know how anyone can get in touch with me ripoffreport wont let me give my email address or phone number. Anyone have any ideas on how to get me there story?
