After looking into SELLING my old cell phone, I decided to not list it on eBay or Amazon because Cash For Cell Phones USA said they would send me a check without the hassles of listing and selling.
They never mentioned if it was not on their list, they would recycle it WITHOUT MY PERMISSION or WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST. So I got paid NOTHING for my phone, even though they promised to send a check.
AFTER the phone had been recycled, I received an email that the phone was worthless and had been recycled. They DID NOT have MY PERMISSION to recycle it! I could have SOLD it for CASH!
I called to complain, but they said the cell phone had already been recycled and there was nothing they could do. I asked for and got a supervisor and was told the same.
This BS policy needs to be changed!!! You must CONTACT the CUSTOMER BEFORE throwing away things of VALUE!!!
NEVER SEND your cell phone to Cash For Cell Phones USA.com! They will recycle it and NOT PAY you!
