This company is a rip-off to the extreme. I was also lied to about the 30-day cancellation period. I requested a refund before the deadline due to unfortunate automobile accident. The accident totaled my truck and resulted in multiple back injuries that prevent sitting for long periods of time at a computer. I immediately contacted my sales person and requested a refund. For one year I have requested a refund for $1,799! My phone and e-mail communications were exchanged with various CBT employees. Each representative gave the impression of immediate resolution and refund consideration but nothing happened. Most recently Kim Cardinale, VP of Operations declined my refund request because of the warranty. Further she stated my e-mails were quote threats and I must, what I must do. Have a nice day. So much for individual resolution with the VP of Operations. Kim Cardinale, VP of Operations response raised my suspicions on business practices and services and prompted immediate investigation. It's unlawful business practices to claim money for training/services that were never received. I found the Securities Class Action Clearinghouse @ securities.stanford.edu /1002/CBTSY/002.html and linked into this website.

Question to BJ from Largo

AUTHOR: William - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 20, 2006

I would like to ask this question to BJ from Largo, Florida . If a gym was advertising a free trial membership and when you went to the Gym only to presented with a 3 hour sales presentation. The salesman tells you how great this gym is and tells you they've worked with Arnold Schwartzeneggar and Sylvester Stallone. You ask about the free trial membership, but you are told by the salesman that if you sign up today he will give you the deal of a lifetime. You sign up for the Gym and then find out that the equipment is broken, the trainers are not qualified, the pool is a frog pond, and working with Arnold and Sly means that they own Terminator 2 and Rocky on video. Now wouldn't you be angry with this gym and want your money back? Well this is the deal we got from CBT Direct.

Dedication is irrelevant

AUTHOR: Mari - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 04, 2006

First of all this case involves back injury that prohibited registration. My health is much more valuable! Dedication is irrelevant. Thefact that close $2000 is not refunded despite this isolated case is abuse of customer protection laws and borders on Internet crime.

1st . let me point out that you do have a 120 day certification guarantee... in fact you must read it and agree to it BEFORE you are allowed to enroll in the training.
2nd. each individual course on avg. takes 4-6 weeks to complete - so the Co. attempts to give you plenty of time to go take 1 exam on 2 attempts to ensure the courses works for you.
3RD THERE IS NO 30 DAY CANCELLATION - HAS NEVER BEEN ....JUST AS IF YOU OPEN A CD OR VIDEO AT A STORE - YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK -UNLESS IT IS DEFECTIVE.
4TH all callls are recorded there - so 98%
(I will agree there might be a small percentage of people that do not clearly understand the online training process and may feel mislead)of those reporting here
are on recordings and very excited when they enroll and agree to the guarantee and agree to work on the training ....
just like some people agree to go to a gym, sign up - then never act on it.
I have been there for a very long time and have many complimentary letters and work with major Co's on a reg. basis yr. after yr.
THEY WOULD NOT INVEST TENS OF THOUSANDS IF IT DID NOT WORK - BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT THE EFFORT IN.
QUIT BLAMING OTHERS FOR YOUR LACK OF DEDICATION .
