CBT Direct ripoff Clearwater Florida

I also looked in to purchasing training. I had chosen not to based on the high pressure sales tactics this company employs, unfortunately this happens everyday in Clearwater. This company is owned and ran by Scientologists, they, like many other companies in our area use the same high pressure deceitful tactics they learned at the church for recruting new members. There are many attorneys in the clearwater area who have had enough of comanies like this and are taking action.

This very typical. CBT Direct (AKA Smart Certify)employee will always try to blame the custmor for the wrong doing and try's to make it out to be the custmor's fault.

This employee or x-employee fails to relize that this nice gentelmen cannot even get the software to work on his computer because of an java script error.

This employee or x-employee also fails to relize that Smart Certify has not helped him fix this problem for what sounds like to be around a month. That with in itself is a huge disgrace.

No repable software/Computer company such as Dell, Gateway or even the very cheap anti-virus software company's would allow this to continue with there custmors.

However this gentlemen probably paid between $2000-3500 for this program and he cannot get it to work and CBT Direct has made no offer to offer a refund.

As a current Ebay seller I know if I treated my custmors like this I could get a negative feedback and if it happend enough I would get suspended from Ebay.

I am sure this gentlemen is learning now more and more this CBT direct is a scam and legal action needs to be taken against this company.

I was a loyal employee to smart certify (aka cbt direct) for awhile and the problem of downloading Java is actually a software issue in your computer. What you need to do is have your computer checked out because once you are able to use the training you can't say they ripped you off. For the other reports about they give you 120 day guarantee that is true they do, but the guarantee reads

CBT Direct training is covered by a 120-day certification warranty. You must pass the corresponding CertBlaster pre-test certification mode exam(s) for this course before taking the corresponding certification exam. If you fail the same exam covered by CBT Direct training on two (2) attempts within 120 days of purchase and fax in your results of both the CertBlaster and the certification exam(s), a refund will be issued for the corresponding training package.

For courses with no CertBlaster available, you still must fail the certification exam on two attempts [five (5) days must elapse between first and second attempt] within the 120 days of purchase and fax your results of the certification exams and a refund will be issued for the corresponding training package. If your purchase includes 2 (two) or more courses, this warranty only applies to your first certification exam. Toolwire LiveLabs are covered by a 30-day performance warranty. No other warranties or certification guarantees apply.

With that said I can understand getting mad but no one can make you do anything so If you don't make the cut off for the guaraentee because your dedication level is not high enough to make yourself succeed then instead of blaming it on the company who sold it to you look in the mirror and ask yourself did i really want to change my life or just want to say they I tried to change my life and all they did was rip me off.
