This company sent us catalogs. We called to tell them we were not interested.
They told us we had until June 1st to cancel.
We called again and told we were not interested. They told us we had to cancel in writing.
We wrote a letter to cancel and letting them know not to send us anything else 2 weeks before June 1st.
We called today to make sure they received the letter. They said they didn't but it would have to be there 3 business days before June 1st.
They were so rude and obnoxious. They told us we were stuck paying the $200 (membership fee) or it would go to collections.
We never applied for this credit, authorized them to look in to our credit report, and never gave them our personal information. How are they able to obtain all this and get away with it?
