After our case I just noticed all of the other complaints that people post over here, so, I thought to post my case aswell as this is very odd.

We are a registered business in Europe, Romania. (Note: Romania, I think they take advantage of this because most of the people consider Romania as a high risk of fraud country.).

We opened a merchant account somewhere in February this year. Untill then we weren't processing credit cards, we have our own database with registered clients, fraud protection from maximind, in few words we use WHMCS billing system.

Now, after we successfully had our merchant account active at ccbill we decided to go ahead and use it.

In few days we notified all our clients that we can now accept credit card payments. This being said we got a lot of our clients interested and willing to use this payment method.

With the account setup, we set up on our site this payment methog, using your credit card, now since we set that up and customers were informed we got in 2 days somewhere around 25 payments for 126/123$ from clients already registered in our database, already using our services but untill now using another payment method such as paypal/alertpay, etc.

In one week after we received these payments we received an e-mail from ccbill fraud department that our account was terminated and they will no longer proccess transactions for our business and ***they cannot provide me any other information about it as it is secret***.

I replied 3 times to that e-mail, I got one reply, same message telling me that our account is terminated and they are unable to give me more details about it.

I found out from a Live Chat operator that my account has problems with fraud. Thats all I found out.

NOTE: I am able even today after more than 1 week since the account was terminated to login into my merchant account and view all of those transactions marked as OK and active (actually those are subscriptions).

Now the most important problem is here, check this out.

CCBill pays out its clients every monday.

As all of my transactions were OK the first check amount which they had to wire it to my bank account was somewhere around 2300-2400USD, from those money they took out the CCBILL fees, proccesing fee, holding back fee, wire fee, a total of 'CHECK THIS OUT': 640$ for my first payout WHICH WAS NEVER SENT TO ME. The amount I should receive is more than 1700USD which is listed in my account as ISSUED/SENT.

This being said by their 'wire specialist' and all of the live chat operators.

They took their fees from those money but they don't send me what I deserve.

Now another week passed and another check appears for my account again, they took more than 100$ as fees and I receive nothing.

I cannot get any explanation, any information, what fraud? Which transaction is fraudulent? What is wrong with MY ACCOUNT? They do not respond to any of my questions, they just bugg me with their confidential stuff.

I also noticed in my account a lot of DECLINED transactions, and from what I understood someone was messing with their system and screwed up our business trying to pay for our services using scammed data through CCBILL.

Now, I tryed to explain this situation but I couldnt, same response over and over.

Why do they act like that? Where is my fault? I am your client protect my bussines don't close it, I also told them to refund all those fraudulent transactions or whatever they found.. just do not close my business.. but nothing.

That caused a lot to our business we had to argue and have fights with clients because of this as we couldnt just offer the services to those who paid and are still marked as active customers in my account and will most probably get charged again as all of those payments were subscriptions.

If the problem wont clear up I will have to contact our lawyers and most probably go in a trial because what just happened to us is very bad.

Their fraud department is very weird.

I hope this issue will be solved very soon.

Hello,
I am a long time ccbill processor and you are mistaken in a few areas. First of all you don't get a merchant account or use your own with ccbill. You use theirs.

As far as Romania being a "High risk" Nation this is common knowledge and I don't believe CCbill will even allow company's from your country service in any form. I may be wrong on this but you would get a huge amount of chargebacks from Romanian cards. If you did have your own merchant account you would get NO explanation from an issuer such as Superior bankcard.

You should still have access to your webmasters interface which will tell you how many and who was a chargeback. Standart merchant account practice (I don't know if it is ccbills) is if 5% chargeback is reached to close the account and pay nothing for 180 days. So if ccbil has paid you anything it was out of the goodness of their heart.I'm waiting 5 years for money from Epoch Systems that I will never see.

I'm curious why you don't list your company info. Since CCbill only allows the selling of digital products what costs 123 bux in Romania?

I think it's only fair if your going to complain you should let everyone know what you sell.
