I checked my debit card report and saw that a charge for $29.99 was taken from my account. I do not know these people and never recieved anything from them. I noticed this company has a lot of complaints from others. They need to be put out of service.

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO: Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E. According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days. If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges. Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent! DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get. And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state. Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth. If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

Here's the real deal ...

customers that don't know how to read and then blame their irresponsibility

On the website or the biller and claim FRAUD.


First let’s play dictionary.


FRAUD - when someone steals your credit card, fakes your identity.

UN-AUTHORIZED - When you made a purchase and agreed to terms and were billed more than

those terms or after those terms were terminated by you.


NON Recurring - One time charge

Recurring - Just as it indicates, it will re occur, continue to happen.


Cancel - End agreement. Stop further billing. ("I cancelled, where's my money")

Cancel means you have access through the time you paid,


Refund - Means you get your money back.


(Contact your bank on these terms because folks, it's an industry standard)


VOID - a voided transaction takes 3-5days


REFUND - a refunded transaction takes 7-10 days (A check will take 7-14 days)


PRE AUTH HOLD - A pending charge that does not get processed (takes 3-5 days)

If you use a pre-paid card, read the terms and conditions for processing time.

*Helpful Hint* Those Vanilla Visa’s, can take up to 60 days


These are business/working days (meaning days that the BANK conducts business.


We cooperate and side with the customer. We advise you to expedite the release of the hold,

contact your bank and have them fax us a request. We respond and return the request within 24hrs.

and forgot to cancel, doesn’t make the continued billing FRAUD or



We allow refunds for when yeah you do forget by a 1-2 days.

so you got billed on Monday, the payment posted on Tuesday and you call us wends day

and say "hey I forgot to cancel, I am not interested in continuing" We say

ok not a problem and issue a refund for billed on date of cancelation.



I can’t use metart without registration of an email

so we go to seancody.com straight to the billing page.

Same as before...you were on a page that indicated the pricing and terms,

you selected on and are now on this page:

Payment Options: (is a drop down menu with an arrow down on the right indicating it is a drop down menu)

$27.95 for 30 days, then $27.95 recurring every 30 days.


So prior to you putting in your card information you have selected

TWICE the payment terms.


TWO TIMES you agreed to recurring charges.


Then you completed your purchase.


CCBill sent you an email (unless you used a fake email account

or made a type-o) which states the following ...


Dear Customer,


Thank you for your subscription to seancody.com

you have been billed in the amount of $27.95 for 30 days, then $27.95 recurring every 30 days.

Your new subscription ID is 0214111000000111.

Keep this as a record of your purchase and reference this number if you wish to cancel.

you can cancel by contacting us by phone, through ccbill.com, or by email.

How could you not.


You were made aware of it 3 times.


It takes 10 seconds to admit you forgot, get your refund (if you call within 2 days of the re-bill date)

and move on than it does to put it off and call claiming FRAUD when no one stole from you,

or say it was un-authorized when you were made VERY aware of the terms and chose not read it then b***h

because the subscription is 20 days past the rebill date and cry about not being refunded,


We don't know if you accessed the site or not.




If you have a content dispute.

Contact the website for a refund.

You don't order from Burger King and call McDonalds for a refund.

And if you don't like your burger you take it back then, not 20 days later.



In cases of actual fraud, when someone gained access to your credit card number, name , address and bought a

porno subscription, CALL US ..It’s not hard to determine fraud when

you have no prior history with us or the IP is coming out of some 3rd world country,

and has 20 other subscriptions on the same day with 20 different names, and 20 different

card numbers but the same IP. We refund for that. Because it’s obvious, it wasn't you who

did it. We also block your information to prevent any further use, then

link your refunded subscription page to the 20 others and start processing refunds for the additional fraud we found.



Yes, downoadprovider is ...useless. It has been helpful for some.

but seriously ?? Are you to lazy to download BitTorrent (free) go to piratebay.com

and get the stupid book or whatever it is your trying to download ?

Download provider is a paid search tool that links you to the content you search for.

If the hosted site no longer has the content and didn't take down the listing that it did ..

How the hell is downloadprovider supposed to know ?? let alone how is CCBill.

Download provider came to CCBill and said hey I need an online credit card processor ,

that’s what CCBill is and that is what CCBill does.


We caught a couple of websites that were selling merchandise and then not shipping to customers.

We looked into customer claims, followed up with the website,

refunded customers, and monitored the website watching the shipping details change, the location of the site change,

when contacted, they wouldn’t respond, that was a scam website. We stopped offering our services

to them, and refunded all of their customers.

so ya know ... there is your perfectly good explanation for 90% of

these claims. And you got nothing better to do than blame your irresponsibility on CCBill,

then when you don't get your way, you go crying wolf and screaming fraud on these website.


Yeah go call your attorney general ... how'd that go ?


And P.S. again READ !!!! when you get a decline email and it

says DECLINED BY BANK !!! Why are you calling us ? We are not your bank.


If there is something wrong, call, be honest, CCBill is working on changing the brand

to not just serving the clients we bill for and ignoring the customer, but

making sure the clients we bill for aren't screwing the customers.


You see CCBill.com on your statement and you don't know why ?

Call us, in fraud cases the name isn't going to be yours, so don’t be a p***y,

give up the card number so we can locate the charge (its not like we hang up once you give us the number

and go to Walmart) and determine why you got billed.

Don't freak out when it's your spouse’s name either, it does happen.


Just like when you buy a car, or sign a lease, a mortgage, you read

the terms that are presented to you.

Don't be so ignorant, horny,impulsive and blow by the payment details and get pissed

off at me when it re bills.


I listen to every customer who's call I get.


If you situation hasn’t been rectified, don't call screaming

about charges ... my screen is blank .. I can’t look up anything until you

give me the information to locate it and take care of it.



One last thing, knock it off calling saying your 9 year old made

a subscription with your card, your email, and the same user name

you've used on other websites when the purchase was made at 3am ??

Cuz then you look bad.

Why was your 9 y/o up at 3am? Where were you ?

Why did your 9 y/o have access to your credit card ??


It was you ..we all know it ... buyer’s remorse ??


My best advice to all of you ...


VIEW NON MEMBER CONTENT prior to sign up.

If you don't understand the billing terms, call us.

I'd rather explain them then hear your excuses and screaming charge back

when it rebills.


I'm not trying to be rude. I am merely telling you the how it is from the employee side.


Take both into consideration.

CCBill is a third party billing company

CCBill is a processing site for adult websites, which it sounds like what you signed up for at that price.  All the info is on the page where you signed up for the site (prehaps a free trial, you have to cancel or you will be charged.)
