I received this card in the mail. The envelope says boldly that there is a credit card contained within, which is slightly suspicious. The only addresses they offer are PO Boxes. This is also suspicious. I am always cautious about a company that wants fees from me up front.

The letter is very vague, stating that I am approved for up to $6500 WITH NO INTEREST RATE. (Even more Suspicious)

The letter says that I could use the card on over 5,000 products such as computers, electronics, furniture, clothes, jewelry... blah blah blah... but never mentions how I can place an order.

They want an activation fee of $200 and an annual fee of $99.

So I wanted to preview the items I could use my credit on. After all, if I am paying $299 in fees to open a credit line, I want to make sure that they offer something I would be willing to spend my money on.

When I searched the internet, This is the only site that came up in the results. (ripoffreport.com)

Well I decided that it was a scam from the beginning, and this website removed all doubt. But I decided to call anyways, just for fun.

This is an approximate dialogue of my call:
(He seemed polite at first.) "Hello, thank you for calling Credit Services. How are you today?"

ME: "Fine, and you?"
HIM: "Good. Do you have your card and approval number?"
ME: "Yes, which one do you want first?"
HIM: "Card number please..."
(I read him the number)
HIM: "And your approval number's first 3 digets"
ME: "707"
HIM: "Now could you dial that on your phone?"
ME: "What, 707?"
HIM: "Yes"
(So I did)
HIM: "Great. Now can I have your home phone number?"
ME: "No. First I have a few questions. This letter is very vague. Do you guys have a web site?"
HIM (Hesitates...): "Um, no."
ME: "Well this letter does not mention what I can use this credit line to purchase."
HIM (Sounds nervous or agitated): "I think it says in the letter."
ME: "No, it just briefly mentions every department at Sears. Will I be getting a catalog in the mail?"
(He didn't even confirm that I would be ordering from a catalog! He just quickly interjected with - )
HIM: "If you would just be patient with me, I can answer all your questions at the END."
ME: "No. I am not giving you any personal information until I know more about the deal here."
HIM: "Well, I have no way of doing that until I get through the script."
ME: "So you can't tell me if I will get a catalog to order from before I give you my SSN and Checking Information?"
HIM: "No."
ME: "Well have a nice day."
[End call]

I think we can all see what is happening here.
