I worked from August, 2004 to November, 2004,
and what I observed in those 3 Months have
Actually Enraged ME to the Point of Physical
Violence Directed at One Jay Ewing. A
"Vertically Challenged" Young Man, with NO
FORMAL Management SKILLS What-so-ever!!!
In My 30+ Years in the WorkForce, I have
NEVER Met Anyone who was at their Level of
Incompetence, So Deeply that it was a Running
JOKE amongst the more Mature Folks that work
(ed} at this Office. With 15+ years in manage-
ment, in the Aerospace Industry, Myself, I
found the Experience to be At Best, A Learning
Experience. At Worst, A Trip into the Most Vile
sort of down right Deception, in terms of Every
Facet of this "BUSINESS" that I have Ever Encountered!! Please Leave your Integrety at
the Door!!!.... These "kids" that are "IN
CHARGE" of this Particular Office have Delusions of Grandeur unsurpast in Any My
Experience in the Work Force! I dont know
what kind of BULLS#*T they are fed from the
Corporate Office in New Jersey, but I think
it Borders on Criminal Intent. Being in the
TOP 5 in the Cold Calling Dept.

Every Single
Week, I was often in the S#*T pile with
"MANAGEMENT" because I would NOT leave My
Integrety at the Door, when I got There!
I talked to People on the Phones with Respect!!! I refused to "ROLL OVER" Elderly
People At ALL, and this Infuriated Little Bitty Jay, So much so that He Actually got in My Face on more than One Instance!

This is
the kind of CRAP that Thinking Human Beings
JUST Can NOT Tolerate!! Being Semi-Comfortable Financially Speaking, it
was Nothing for Me to just say PISS OFF,
and walk out the Door, But My Heart goes out to those Folks who have to put up with this CRAP, just to Eat!!

I find it Hard to Believe
that NOTHING has been done to Rectify this
Situation. Even Now, as I write this, I find
that the lack of Concern for these folks,
who work there, who have No Recourse but to put up with this, are at the Mercy of this
little "HOBBIT" Character.... I Am SICKENED!!

#3 UPDATE Employee

Accounatability.

AUTHOR: Courtney - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 29, 2005

First, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Courtney and i'm currently a manager at Millennium Teleservices, in Parkersburg WV.

Now, for somebody that only spent from August 04, to September 04, you sure have a lot of credibility to speak in that form against an entire company. You can have a personal grudge against Jay Ewing all day long, but at the end of the day, your personal grudge bears no fruit on the company itself.

In my personal opinion, telemarketing offices, nationwide, hire the un-employable. You can't find a job? Want easy cash? Telemarketing. Now, when you chose to become an employee at the company, you signed an application that states something along the lines of, that you are fully capable of the training, the work structure and the job itself. When you, Sir, signed that, thats a signature that denotes your agreement to do as your told and perform the job as you are trained. Such as, "rolling over," the elderly. I agree, it isn't a wonderous thing to do, to irritate the old, but having a soft spot such as that, goes back to your signature, you did, in fact have something that proves that you weren't capable of performing the job as trained.

In Jay's defense, being that he was the CCM, how he chose to run the call center, was his choice, if there was something deleriously wrong with his choices, he wouldn't of been CCM. Now, as for you slamming Jay Ewing, it's the pot calling the kettle black here, you want to speak of his management skills, yet you weren't there long enough to see the performance that Jay produced as CCM, and you spoke of not leaving you "integrity," at the door. I find that oddly facinating Jeff, because you, on a few occasions in your report slammed Jay for his height. Now, what does that make you? Mature? Full of integrity? This I don't comprehend. Also, in his defense, Jay Ewing had a large hand in training me, and many of the current managers in the office, he's much brighter and much more intelligent than what you display him as. But, I wouldn't expect much from a person who spent nearly 2 months in that office, and I assume that you haven't been a CCM? Tell me if i'm wrong. Idiots and "people with no formal management skills," do not become CCM's. That's a fact. And besides, it's a job, and another one is always able to be aquired. Another thing I don't understand is how you reported a PERSONAL grudge on ripoffreport.com. Was he, in fact ripping off the company? Or did you feel ripped off because the telemarketing industry wasn't as beautiful and glamorous as you expected. It's a job, the employees there do a job, for a pay check, if the job cannot be done, then so be it. But I hardly feel that Jay needed to be slammed publically on a rip off webside, when it's merely a case of agitation.

As far as the other two rebuttles, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I appreciate that. But, lets keep in mind, if you can't perform the job, don't work there. If you place blame on a CCM for your poor performance, and your bad attitude, and expect praise, McDonalds is consistantly hiring. Sure, nobody should be expected to put up with unncessary BS anywhere they work, but lets not make it seem like it's the job, or the CCM that causes chaos, it's all personal, not professional grudges or complaints. Simply personal.

Being that I am a manager there, I will defend the company as a whole. Yes, when you work with 40 other women 8 hours a day, you will have some drama. Drama is everywhere in life, you'll have that. It's how you deal with it that matters. If you play into it, the consequence is yours and only yours. It's a job, not a hobby.

I personally feel that there are quirks in every establishment, but I feel that way, in a professional manner, nothing personal whatsoever. But when an employee of merely 2 months, give or take a week wants to place slander on a company, as a whole, I feel that is pure lack of accountability, if you can't do as your told and as your trained, suck it up, step it up, shake it off or relocate. I don't feel it's anything near integrity to trash talk someone for their height, because what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Exactly. If you have a ligit professional opinion on how the company "ripped you off," then by all means, report it. But in my opinion, in order to keep integrity, you'd of kept it professional and ligit, not personal and immature. But, I felt the need to rebuttle, for when I see such injustice publically strawn over the web, about my place of business, you couldn't of expected me not to place my opinions out, so that people who do, in fact read this, see both sides of the spectrum, rather than just yours.

Thanks,

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

People have their bad days

AUTHOR: Christina - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, May 22, 2005

I worked for Millenium from Febuary 10,2005 to May 21,2005. I myself have seen some pretty messed up situations there. But it's not all that bad. Now if you were to catch me on a bad day when I was really pissed at them, I would tell all, just to vent. Then I would realize I probably shouldn't.

It's an okay place. I loved going there. I quit yesterday and I was so stressed about leaving. I was the top caller for Millenium, and I'm almost positive they are glad I'm gone.

Like I said, I saw a lot of stuff that was not in any way professional. But besides all the drama it was fun. We all enjoyed going there. Now for Jay, he is a wonderful man.

He is very good at what he does, I don't think there is one person in that office that has a problem with him. So I don't see why you felt the need to say the "company" was so bad if you really just have a problem with Jay.

I mean I'm 17 years old and I have had lots of problems with management there but to go as far as saying the whole company is bad.

That's just wrong. I mean it's telemarketing, if you don't like it, leave.
