CDI College Took my money and didn't deliver on their promises Brampton Ontario Canada

I am sorry that happened to you. The same things happened to me I was very lost at the time also to which the rep Patricia played on I didn't realize at the time that we were just money she didn'tcare about anything else. She told me that the school had a high employment rate, this was a lie. I found ouit that she used to be a rep at Everest College and she is not liked by many of the students she lied to. I to took it off my resume as I found out that the school is not liked. I was left with a hugedebt that they do not care about. The entry exam was a joke and most of the people didn't even speak english but that is the people they prey upon the vulnerable. I would not suggest this rip off school to anyone.

I remember that 70% emplyment number they threw around in their advertising.  NONE of the people in my class found ADEQUATE JOB-RELATED employment either(meaning that the job had SOMETHING to do with what you studied!)  One was a part time secretary but I  HARDLY consider that a BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION job!?  They had started this whole "job board" thing at the skool around the time I was set to graduate and it listed certain grads and where they were working.....they wanted to show off the companies who hired CDI grads but it never stated the JOB TITLE?!  I remember I got a phone call asking if I found related employment(I did not) and they wanted to know where I was working but I refused to tell them as they would have slapped it on the board even though the job had NOTHING to do with what I studied there(labour job!).  The name of the company would have been impressive enough to fool an excited, naive new entrant to the private school so I declined.  Even their ads are all creative and tricky word play set to fool certain groups of people.  They try to pose as substitutes for traditional brick and mortar public Universities and Colleges but they are not even in the same league.  When I enrolled, I was depressed, confused and irrational(one of the groups they target)  I had no idea that such places could exist and I stupidly figured that not just anybody could call themselves a college or university(man was I wrong).  I had no idea of the IMPORTANT and CRITICAL difference between public and private institutions. 

So I enrolled due to the promises of a "FAST-TRACK" to SUCCESS and a NEW CAREER in 6-12 MONTHS.....all word play with NO substance.  Almost anyone can enroll and the "admissions test" they give is all smoke and mirrors to give the illusion of standards......basically, everyone passes it.  The course material was a joke and at an early high school level at that.  This was NOT the post-secondary material I was expecting?!  The lies about recruiters visiting the school, high paying jobs waiting for us upon graduation, job placement assistance blah blah blah.....they were all false.....just the things that were supposed to make these skoolz different from the public ones everyone else seems to go to.   I applied for well over 300 business related jobs and got not a single call.  I have since removed the place from my resume.  It was even hard trying to get my resume from them as they claimed I still needed to complete some ridiculous module that I did in fact complete.  I avoided the graduation completely as I was certainly not proud of the fact that I completed the program(lame, weak and most of the tests were OPEN BOOK?!)It was more or less a secretary training program hidden by big business words and advertising.  All of the people who respond and try to act as if these places are worth going to simply work for the skool(I am misspelling it on purpose!) or are trying to justify their decision to go there.  Just try and find a good job or even someone who will let you volunteer your services at their company to gain experince......I doubt you will be successful.....BUT, these places still exist and they gain a new lease on life with their every three year name changes....AVOID!
