The tried to extort money by printing ads on our behalf that were not authorized by us. We faxed and phoned them asking them not to run an ad. they ran it without our knowledge. Cedar publishing contacted us about puting an ad in a magazine to support child find.

We were considering it. They sent us a proof of the inteded ad. It was for art studio as in paintings and such. we faxed them and told them we were a recording studio and that this ad was in no way benificial to us and not to run it. They said they would re do tha ad and get back to us with another proof that would show we were a recording studio. We never got that re submission.

We then got a copy of a magazine that they ran with the ad showing us as a painting studio. we contacted child find... they had nothing to do with this magazine and were familiar with this company. They are taking them to court as we speak.

I contacted them to ask them why they ran an unauthorized ad? They were vulgar and very rude and demanded money. I told them no....

we recieve calls weekly from them harrassing us for money. even crimestoppers has a warning about this fruadulant company.  Cedar publishing puts out magazines that imply they well known non for profit organizatins.... even the police charities. Be aware... if cedar publishing ciontacts you regarding any type of business... simply hang up!!! We are starting a law suit here in ottawa and are asking others that have been violated by this company to contact us and help put this Moe person behind bars.
