I had been a victim of fraud from a individual named Glenn Richardson.

He lied , and scammed me of 35 thousand for a charitable event, claiming he was a credible business man.

He operates a company named celebritytalent.net, claiming that he can book celebrities for events.

He had claimed that a celebrity was interested, and then claiming that an additional  25 thousand was to go to the celebrity.

Long story short, he had made no contact with that celebrity, pocketing the money as we had all his lies and change of stories in an email trials of 6 months.

After we investigated him, he is a no body in the industry, not known at all.

Actually operates a tiny shared office space, possibly even virtual and has been in court and bankrupt several times.

After he scammed the money, he went online disrupting a charitable event, slamming the business and fundraiser that was signed with a charity and went on to say that the operator was mentally disturbed.

A true proffessional.

We investigated further. this is what we found.

beware-celebritytalent.net

After we had our attorney contact him he tried to claim some credibility that he was a senoir staff member of Stanford University.

Actually claiming he was a professor in the Jazz department.

So we made contact with Deans office which is the legal office in Stanford University asking to confirm if Glenn Richardson was a staff memebr of the universtity, if he actually worked there.

No Response at all. We followed up, still nothing.

Pretty sad such a credible university with potentially hiring con artists and extremely unproffessionals and clearly desperate to make a dollar.

We looked at the news articles of Stanford and yes Glenn Richardson was once a staff member, yet he claimed he still is.

If this is the case, my advice is they should of been all over it to assist in resolving this issue and not be hiring scammers Period.

Extremely dissappointing, maybe one day they will actually do something about this issue as its just not accepetable.
