Cenco is very deceitful in practice. They loured me into buying one issue each of three magazines which frankly I didn't want. After procecessing my payment, they informed me that it is a recurring payment for 12 months and it was irreversible. I tried to cancel but they said it would go into collection if I didn't make the payments. After five hours on and off the phone, they said I can cancel in 90 days if I make a recorded statement in the meantime that I will subscribe. After ninety days they claimed they have a statement from me agreeing to the subscription. I therefore refused to make payments, cancelled my credit card and now they call me everyday with a threat to send my account to collection. I have given up on them especially because I never even got the Reader's Digest that I ordered though I still get tens of different magazine that don't interest me because I am not into Cellebrity news magazines.
Watch out and I propose a civil suite against them.

Who's the fraud?

I listen to Cenco sales calls all day long - it is made ABUNDANTLY clear what you are buying and that you are paying each month. You card was not charged until hours after the phone call so you are lying when you say "After procecessing my payment, they informed me that it is a recurring payment for 12 months and it was irreversible." You are informed at the time of the call that you are being charged every month.

If you aren't recieving the national geo then ou should have just called and filed a non-service complaint. I deal with those all day. The girls in the sales room don't even talk fast - they ask if you can hear them alright and they break the charges down for you on the phone "$xx.xx each week for a total of $yy.yy each month..."

If you don't want to pay for magazines that's your problem - but that makes you the one commiting the fraud now doesn't it?

Stop blaming other people for your own mistakes.

I've heard bad call rooms before and ours is not one of them - and my friend (who is very nice) works in collections and she offers to work with you to help pay off your debt.

Anytime you would like proof you ordered magazines feel free to call and listen to the recording. They have it for a reason - deadbeats like you.
