Cendant Before July 09, 2012 my two family(stacked House) home was padlocked and I was told not to enter the building as all my tenants just left with no word of whereabouts and the house was not kept in work Jessup Internet, New Jersey

This is a very sad story, I had bought this house in Schenectady, New York in year of 1997 of April through a mortgage company called Cendant all things were properly controlled as I made a payment as to my attorneys' suggestions; Then I was told to, or asked to refinance; which I had done with a mortgage company out of California. At the start it was called "The Money Store", after awhile their name changed (one-year later). I still had the same agreements to pay the loan which was financed in full accordance with all city requirements as to property & school taxes. Not limiting to other housing, living payments(gas, electric, telephone, television service). Now I receive a bill to close the problem with a initial payment as settlement offer, costing me in the range of a five digit figure. This is to be deducted from my retirement(social security) fund.

I need a place to live and settle down, I do not need to be obligated to pay for somebody elses mistakes. In my opinion the house, or apartment was demolished by the occupants who never intended to recover a loss to the original owner which is me.(Vaughn A. Jelenic).

I do not need a settlement offer saying I owe this amount, when I would be held in contempt or breach of a contract drawn up between me and an attorney, as to the original purchase price of $40,000 dollars.

I agree, your house should have been kept clean; the tenants are responsible for the interior upkeep of the appearance as far as healthy living. the owner/landlord is responsible for other major concerns. Good luck.
