Central Payment Corporation is a scam and I am fuming about it.  First and foremost I became a CpC agent about a year ago and held the title as Account Executive for over 8 months.

First and foremost I want to make it very clear that the owners of this company both Zach and Matt Hyman were the best bosses one could work for.  I was treated with respect and I was provided with whatever I needed when I needed it.

My complaint however is with the rest of CPC as being the company itself and the people within it.  Upon being recruited because that's what you are....recruited to the company...I was assigned whats called a sales director.

In the beginning of my career with he company everything was great.  However, later on down the line, I didn't make so many accounts that I had been doing when I first signed up with them.  My director would get angry with me and tell me not to call him until I was serious about working again.  That alone pissed me off.

Another example of my directors attitude was everytime he would call me after I believe 4 months of working there, he would ask me if I was giving 100% of my business towards CPC.  He was implying that I was working with another company that marketed the same things we did and that I was collecting a paycheck from another source.   Again...a total slap in my face and aalso very hurtful accusations.

Finaly, a few months back I was questioned as to one of my clients claims that had arisen.  The woman was pretty much angry with CPC because we had sold her a credit card terminal and her business had never taken off the ground.  She called me and requested that the money that CPC had deducted from her account for the terminals and as well as her monthly statement fees be reimbursed to her.  I told her this was not possible but if she wanted to avoid any more charges for the term of her contract that she could cancel our services and pay a one time fee for cancellation. She asked for the 800 number to CPC and I gave it to her.

A few days later after this took place, I was contacted by my director who told me that I was done with CPC and that he was relaying it to the owner that this same merchant mentioned above claimed I took over 7,000.00 cash from her stating that I collected it for the company for cancellation fees.  Let me say this one more time.  I WAS ACCUSED OF TAKING OVER 7000.00 FROM ONE OF MY CLIENTS!!!! 7,000.00 DOLLARS.  HELLO? Who would give me or anyone seven grand without any type of eyebrow being raised?

Well my director in fact relayed this information to the owner and in turn without any interview with me or anything I was abruptly terminated.  Since that time I have tried contacting the owners of CPC to try and get my job back but to no avail.  You know having said all this...what really hurts the most is that I was going to let all of this just go and say forget about it even though I did nothing wrong....but when I applied for unemployment...they called up my old director and he relayed to them that I stole from a merchant that I was a theif ... so on and so forth.  They denied me my wages owed to me because of that and I lost everything I had because of such a false claim.  I lost my vehicle, I lost my residence, I lost everything.

To someone wanting to become an agent with CPC I would highly advise not to.  I am going to make it my very best effort to let people know what a scam this company is.  I am going to go the extra mile and go business to business if I have to just to let people know what CPC is really about.  I am going to make that goal my occcupation.  If you want to be an agent in this industry thats fine...just dont do it with Central Payment Corporation.

What he says does make sense

when you first meet Matt and Zach they are the coolest ppl in the world but the company they run is full of s**t. I too once worked there at the actual headquarters and I was fired for a lie an agent told my supervisor and the cold part was that this incident was recorded but since I had only been there for like two months they're rule is you can't have anyone complain against you or they will terminate you and in my case that is what happened. But short story the twins Matt and Zach are a*holes

False Termination

AUTHOR: aowenssr - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, June 14, 2012

I am assuming that this is your first sales job. You were never actually employed with Central Payment but you were a Independent Contractor. I am not really sure if you went through all the steps of the unemployment process, because if you had and unemployment was due to you, then the burden of proof for you not to receive unemployment would have to be from the employer. With a job based on performance the employer would have to provide proof that they without a shadow of a doubt gave you all the tools possible to provide you the tools necessary to make you successful with your job performance. If you were discharged based on intergrity again the burden of proof will have to be on the employer to prove that said action took place. So I am not sure if your claim is completly accurate.

CPC Termination

AUTHOR: J.Walter - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 07, 2011

First off, I would not feel confortable doing setting up a merchang w/ a CONTRACT that had not started making money in their business, yet.  I feel that that is unethical, and it does state in the agreement that unethical behavior leads to termination.  Second, to the rebutal for unemployment, an independent contractor can pay his/her own unemployment taxes.  Also, it is not surprising to me--whether employee or independent contractor--that the state would call the contractee's main source of income (CPC) to see why income is no longer being distributed to the contractee.  After all, DOL is going to be interested in why the unemployment seeker is no longer working...I don't think it matters who they worked for or what their employee status is; if they paid unemployment taxes (or even if their former EMPLOYER paid unemployment taxes on their behalf), they may still qualify for unemployment taxes.  Since we don't know what his situation is, we can't really deny his claim.

Compaint doesnt make sense

With all due respect, much of your complaint does not make any sense.  You praise the owners of the company, but then bash the company itself.  You obviously do not understand what 100% sales is, nor do you understand what it means to be an independent contractor.  Sales is a hard business and is not for anybody number one.  The second point I want to make is in reference to your attempt to collect unemployment.  You were NEVER EMPLOYED by CPC....you were an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR!!  Did you even read the agreement that I am sure you signed when you joined up with CPC?  Since you were never an employee of this company, you were never fired, the contract was just terminated.  Therefore your claim for unemployment was technically false.  If sales is not for you, then stay out of the sales industry.  CPC, from what I have read offers interested people a BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, not a JOB.  If that is what you were seeking you looked in the wrong place.  Please, do yourself a favor and get on with your life.  Stop blaming someone else and especially do not label an entire organization as a scam because of your lack of knowledge.
