Centurian Financial promised a credit card ofr $240...... then would not give me info Clearwater Florida

I received a call last week (Dec 29) from this company promising to send me a credit card with a 2k limit, and then 5k after 6months. I asked questions like: How do I pay my monthly bill, can I pay it online, etc.

So, I gave them my ssn, driver licens, and bank info. Then they said I was signed up for a long distance service. i said I didn't want the long distance service and they gave me an 800 # to call to cancel it. Haven't been able to get through on that number. So I called Centurian back, asked them how my bacnk account will be debited, whether by phone check or direct debit and the girl on the line said she didn't know. So, I asked to be put through to someone who did know and I was told that the department that handles that does not talk to customers.

So I told her to cancel everything and she said I couldn't! I said I could and would call my district attorney and police department and she said to go right ahead and hung up on me. I then put a stop payment on the $249 and attempted to call them back to cancel the long distance service that I didn't want in the first place and the same girl answered the phone and hung up on me.
I now realize this must be a major ripp-off.
