Century Link DECEPTIVE MARKETING, FAILURE TO INCLUDE ALL FINE PRINT, AND HORRIFYINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! ON TOP OF POOR INTERNET CONNECTION SPEEDS. Aurora Colorado

This company advertises "promotional periods" that the rate is reduced, makes no mention of a "term" or "early termination fee". I have copies of the confirmation of enrollment, nothing stated about an early termination fee, they even include fine print on the confirmation of the order and it still states nothing about an early termination period.

When I called (after 3 hours with customer service) after being told every possible answer I could hear, including one representative even confirming that I indeed "did not sign up for a contract period, and someone had made a change on my account causing me to be in a contract after the order was placed online", one representative telling me I "entered into a verbal contract" despite the knowlege that I ordered entirely online, and one even telling me "there was a little slip of paper in the box, that was your contract", finally being told that the contract is "at the bottom of my first bill" and somehow I had the knowlege of it at the time I sigfned up, even though I hadn't yet seen this bill.

This is one of the most crooked companies on the market. You will not get the speeds promised, and they bill more than the amount promised at every billing cycle. They are criminals and you should not do business with them.
