Greetings.
Roughly an hour ago I recieved a call concerning an entrance into a sweepstakes to win 25000 dollars a new car or a trip overseas to Rome.

Being that I , like most other people who are hopelessly middle class and have to fight at times to survive in this expensive world, I counted this as a good opportunity. However, once the phone call had been switched to A colin ritchot, things turned sour. Being that I read a number of magazines such as Bass pro shops monthly, National Geographic, Newsweek, And Time, The prospect of getting these magazines delivered for 60 months sounded as though it would be a good thing. For 3.99 a week I could find no immediate wrong in this offer.

However, once he crunched numbers and told me how much I would have to pay. Being 69 dollars for 15 months. I became hesitant, like an auctioneer working a good deal which would not burden me financially, I began asking how 3.99 a week turned into 69 dollars. He was quick to explain (too Quick in my opinon) To explain that this was to ensure that I would only have to pay for a limited time and would have roughly 60 months of non payment.

At first the price was reduced to 49 dollars a month for a longer period. then down to 39 dollars. During this phone call I began to notice that there were inconsitancies And thus began to research them with a sort of suspicious attitude. I found the website but found no information about the whole offer. Then when I typed in Scam I found that this name popped up consistantly as a scamming source. Thus, when he began to ask me if I understood and agreed to the terms, after giving my account number like the ignorant person I was, I replied I understood however... I was cut off as he said I would have to clarify for his supervisor about whether or not I would want to. I said I do not like these deals Is there any better price so I would not be so encumbered financially? He said he would work it down to 26 payments of 39 dollars. Upon asking if I accepted these terms I began to say No he continued to talk which prompted me to say no repeatedly. By this time I had also mentioned that I was wary due to their name coming up as a scam artist. He asked me why I should believe this to which I noted that the consensus of a people at large is the relevent factor to the reliability of the company. This was apparently met on deaf ears as he began to enter my information into his so called encrypted network. At this time I told him not to since I did not want this.

He continued to do so and At the very end of the phone call I told him blatently knowing full well he was supposed to be recording that I do not want this at all And I have said so several times. I was then cut off at the end of the phone call as he had ran me out of minutes I suspect.

As of this writing, I have not been charged and likely will not be charged untill monday, However, I am already taking actions to stop this debacle before it can continue. I pity the day when a man decided to begin taking advantage of his peers and hope to see this company sued for all it has.

The thing which gets me more than anything is that they would go so far as to rip off the very servicemembers who serve this country. dying for their free enterprise. It is as though a grave wrong has been commited against me. I feel any people who do such things deserve the full punishment of the law.
