This report is about a subscription for a supposedly Premium product for the CCNP exam of CISCO.

Having wanted to practice before taking part in a Cisco Exam, I went into ExamCollection to get a file, as I always used to do, and then play some question and answer for practice.

Although this was before at no charge and since I do not believe in free things (nothing is for nothing these days) and as a compensation for the effort behind a seemingly correct set, I looked at the Premium files, where one would have to pay the rather exorbitant amount of approx. 50 USD to get one month’s subscription. Imagine that a Windows license costs in the region of 100 USD so this company was asking half of that for a month!

All things equal and after the vigorous emails I had received about discounts and super guarantees for a 100% refund if I did not pass the exam, I decided for it and I bought a subscription for one month.

To top it all up I would now have to pay an additional sum of money in order that I can now download the simulator for the file and the exam, which I bought as well, again for one month. In any event I would not need subscription for more than that as I had already studied a lot and I would be writing the exam soon.

The first shock was that a very large number of answers was wrong or misleading, making one forget what one had learned so far. Too late for cries as I had already paid a good 100 USD for the super set.

Then I wrote the exam and I did not pass it. I decided to use the guarantee provided and I wrote an email informing them of the fact, including all the wrong answers or ambiguous ones, let alone the typos.

To my numerous emails I got vague replies, no recognition of the errors and above all, the company wrote to me that the guarantee on the emails for a 100% refund if I did not pass the exam had long expired, although the email was not older than a month and there was no expiry in it.

But the major rip-off is that they carried on charging my credit card with subscriptions for every month after that, landing with costs for something that was useless and of disgusting quality, that I had no use of and that above all I had not ordered it.

I took the effort to do some googling, only to find out the report about the other rip-off the Certkiller.

So far away from these guys and especially the Premium subscriptions for a pack of pure garbage!
