This company did an auto loan when they had a dealership in Mesa named Mesa Auto Exchange. This was my first loan of my life and I was young and did not know the exact details of everything. Once I got my car and about 15 months later my engine blew and they refused to help me getting it fixed. Shortly after that Mesa Auto Exchange went out of business and of course I now know the reason why because of my situation. But that was over 13 years ago.

I have been working at my present employer and I get a packet in the mail stating CF Capital which was the loan company for the car had sent my employer garnishment papers and now they are taking 25% of every paycheck to pay for this garnishment and I am barely making enough to cover my bills and stuff for my kids and therefore in a HUGE financial bind. On top of everything we settled on an amount to cover the loan and I paid them and now they are wanting more.

CF CAPITAL is just money hungry and should be shut down. They have NEVER contacted me until now and this to be over 13 years old this is just pathetic! I wish I knew where the manager or owner of this company was because I would be in his face giving him everything that he deserves! DON’T EVER WORK WITH THEM!

I've learned the CEO's name is Keith Waldersen. Yes, it is pathetic to have your name tied to illegal and inhumane business/collection practices. Sad. Go to PIPL.com & search the name for Carefree,AZ

Check your public records

It is possible the lender obtained a judgment against you when you defaulted and the vehicle was repossessed. Check your public records to see if they got a default judgment (most likely).  Judgements last a very long time, 20 years plus they can be renewed for another 20 years if they remain unpaid. The entire time interest accrues. Some jurisdictions have only 10-year judgments with renewals until paid. Check your state's statutes for the right information in your jurisdiction. I don't work for this company at all, but it sounds like you needed to know that it is common for lenders to come after their funds years later when they have a judgment against you. By the way, a judgment may or may not show up on your credit report. Public records are entirely different from a credit report and they follow you around for a lifetime.
