Characters for Hire, LLC owned and run by Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman of Characters for Hire, LLC in New York city NOT PAYING CHARACTERS, A class act hot mess that doesn't occasionally pay their characters Manhattan New York

Characters for Hire, LLC, has trouble occasionally not paying their characters for acting jobs. Based on reviews attached they seem to have a history of doing this. I have also worked with them many years ago for a character job and the day was weird in the morning. Owner of Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman was talking a lot about people by race or religion I think, then in the morning before we got the acting job done he never did the I9 aka documentation for being paid and identified as to who we are. Did not think much of it other than now I am realizing Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman did that so if I were to sue Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman I would legally have no proof I worked for them. That was intentional.

Lesson learned. If you're hired to work for Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman MAKE SURE YOU GOT I9 signed in other words they get you papers that have you'd id and or passport info on it. Those papers mean you're an employee or 1099 under Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman.

 Later on there was BARELY anything having to do properly training me and the other characters how to do our acts. Characters for Hire, LLC aka Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman never verified if we know how to act like our dressed character or not WHICH IS ODD SO CLIENTS HIRING THEIR CHARACTERS BEWARE! Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman is the owner and managing partner of Characters for Hire, LLC in New York City, New York. We barely got fed and although they lost the client they end up not paying us for more than a year. Client never updated us and never heard back. Supposedly this got on a tv show for this. Also if you lookup "Characters for Hire, LLC sued" you can see they eventually got sued by Disney.

Employees looking to get hired by Characters for Hire, LLC beware you may get called from unpaid characters. It's evident that they're occasionally not paying characters to save some money. In other words they pay some but not others to save money. They then be ignorant about it. When I got paid it's more than a year later and it's no taxes taken out. The following year I never got any W2 or 1099 from them. Lots of disorganization. A huge hot mess.

Reviews posted below that I snapshotted are of both client and or character-written reviews. Even one character contacted the client about not being paid. Even characters posting reviews. BY THE WAY THEY CAN POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS ANONYMOUSLY AND UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME! It's legally ok if its an honest review like this one is. Please done hire Characters for Hire, LLC and please done work for them or Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman the hot mess that even get this company working right.
