CHARACTERS FOR HIRE, LLC IS NOT A COMPANY TO HIRE OR WORK FOR! Owner Nick SARELLI, aka Avi Lieberman, has never asked if we know how to behave like our costumed character, which is weird. Alert TO CLIENTS Recruiting CHARACTERS! Nick SARELLI, alias Avi Lieberman, is the owner and managing partner of Characters for Hire, LLC in New York City, New York. We were hardly fed, and they did not pay us for over a year after losing the customer. The client never issued an update, and we never received a response. This was allegedly used for this on a television program.

You'll find a slew of negative reviews/complaints from characters moaning about nonpayment or a sudden payment to cover up a poor rating if you search "characters for hire llc does not pay." Why does it seem that doing things right requires a bad complaint? Why not cut checks for services rendered in advance (assuming it's a 1099) and get it done right away? Isn't this a simple way to find new clients? Why not turn around to face the other way?

ISSUE WITH SOME CLIENTS REPORTING PROBLEMS AND REFUND PROBLEMS. It's as easy as that: refund when necessary. Employees should be compensated for the time they have spent, regardless of whether they deliver or not. People who were fired somewhere got paid for the day as long as they followed the law, and I'm sure there are laws and regulations in place to back this up.

In addition, if you Google "Characters for Hire, LLC sued," you'll discover that Disney has filed a complaint against them. Employees who are interested in working for Characters for Hire, LLC should be aware that unpaid characters can contact them. It's obvious that in order to save money, they don't always pay characters. To put it another way, in order to save money, they pay some people but not others. They will be completely unaware of it. I haven't been paid in over a year, and no taxes have been deducted. The next year, I never got a W2 or 1099 from them. There is a great deal of disarray.

Nick or avi is a hot mess. I've included a mixture of client and character-written feedback below. One of the characters had called the client to express his dissatisfaction with the fact that he had not been prosecuted. Even the characters leave feedback on the show. THEY CAN EVEN POST Derogatory COMMENTS ANONYMOUSLY AND UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME! It's legal if the analysis is factually correct, which it is in this situation. Please hire Characters for Hire, LLC instead of Nick SARELLI, a/k/a Avi Lieberman, who can't seem to get this business to function properly.

WHEN YOU SEARCH CHARACTERS FOR HIRE, LLC ON RIPOFF REPORT, YOU'LL FIND MORE REVIEWS, AND THEY'RE FINDING ALL KINDS OF WAYS TO COVER IT UP WITH FAKE REVIEWS, WHICH IS WHY YOU'RE SEEING 5 STAR REVIEWS ON GOOGLE Quite RANDOMLY LATELY. They attempted to take this one down, but they added evidence of previous problems this time.

They also never paid me years back until i contacted them. However since, they have not contacted me and lots of others for work again. All i did was ask for payment, and it looks like they do not pay others too. Attaching all the proofs. 

Dario Lee tried to extort money from our company. This is now in the hands of our attorney.

Dario, you are nothing but a scam artist who tried to defraud the company. You know you were paid and are spreading lies out of maliciousness in order to extort money from our company. We have forward all of this information to our attorney for a demafation lawsuit against you.

We have attached a photo of the check that Dario received and cashed. He was paid in full as with other vendors and talent that work for us. Dario has also made consistant deragatory remarks about our employee's race by calling them the "N" word and other vial racist comments.

Characters for hire called me and agreed to pay me ON ONE CONDITION.  That I remove reviews posted by me on Google Review. Welp Since the company did breach the contract and the law states TRY TO COME TO A RESOLUTION, I decided to help them yet again and take the money and remove the post off google.

I was told that The company fired the man that cursed at me over the phone(IN WHICH I DID NOT ASK OR REQUEST THAT TO HAPPEN). This is the worst Company EVER! Do No t hire them and Actors Stay Away from them.

It is Scam Operated not a PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS COMPANY! I was treated with Disrespect to the highest degree. This company should not be in business.
