I placed an order on Nov. 9 for a pre-order that was set to ship 11/30.

11/30 came and I got no notification. I checked their Facebook group (HIGHLY unprofessional to send out updates on a group rather than also email affected customers) they said everything would be shipped by 12/5, THEN on 12/5 they said 12/8.

On 12/8, I still hadn’t heard anything so, I emailed them to check on a status update and get my tracking information, they then told me that they posted on Facebook the previous day that there was a delay and informed me that my purchase would ship in the next two days.

I waited two more days and it still didn't ship. They posted on their Facebook on 12/11 (again, HIGHLY unprofessional way to send out updates, email your customers. I didn’t place my order on FB, I placed it on the website, using my email address) that they were accepting cancellations and offering refunds. They never did give me a new expected ship date (per FTC regulations) when I asked for it.

They finally sent a mass email on 12/12 informing us our product would be to us by Christmas. I emailed them on 12/12 asking for an updated ship date and requested to cancel if my purchase hadn't shipped yet. I received no response.

On 12/13 they told me (on Facebook, in a comment) they're getting to my email right then, but I received no response, so I emailed them letting them know I was NOT agreeing to an extended ship date (since I didn't even have one) and I wanted to cancel and get a full refund. I received no response.

On 12/14 I emailed them informing them of the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Trade Regulation Rule and again informed them that I wasn't agreeing to an extended ship date and that I was requesting my cancellation and full refund. I received a response that  help desk ticket had been created and I should hear back within 24 hours. I received no response after that.

On 12/15 I followed up asking for a confirmation of my cancellation on the ticket. No response.

On 12/17 I asked for a confirmation of my cancellation and refund ASAP. I received a response that my order could not be canceled because it had already shipped. I had no received tracking information. I did not agree to this extended ship date. I requested to cancel SEVERAL times, even when they, themselves said that we could cancel, and when I feel I am entitled to a refund due to the shipping issues.

I responded and told them that I had no proof that the order had shipped, and to immediately cancel and refund it. No response. I got a shipping notification on 12/22 (FIVE DAYS AFTER THEY HAD TOLD ME IT HAD ALREADY SHIPPED!!!!!!) and the label was just created that day (NOT FIVE DAYS BEFORE). This is unacceptable. They are violating MANY FTC regulations, not communicating with their customers, promising refunds (that customers are legally entitled to), but LYING about ship dates and ignoring emails so they don’t have to refund.

They are doing this to MANY other customers, and it really is unacceptable.

Hi, we are sorry for the delays during the holiday shipping time. However our shipper experienced delays and we conveyed them in the best manner we felt would reach all affected. The shipping dates we provided were estimated and not exact dates. Additionally the estimated ship date was 11/30 and delays were communicated to our customers even though only shipping delays OVER 30 days are required by the FTC for customer notification and options. As per the FTC we were not in violation as they require any delays over 30 days from the date promised to be conveyed. Estimated ship dates are not dates promised, however we were able to comply with the regulations. 

We are sorry for the confustion and any delays the holiday shipping has caused.

Our company responds to all emails, and has rectified any missing orders. Due to shipping issues with our previous shipper we have refunded orders not shipped or lost. As per our company policy we do not respond to emails with threats or vulagrity. Also any facebook posts written on our personal group page in the same manner will be deleted & removed. The facebook group is invitiation only and we reserve the right to remove members who behave in a abusive or vulgar manner or spam our group page or posts. We believe its abusive to those who have volunteered their time to help and against our charitiable purposes. Thank you again and we hope your issue has been rectified. If not please send us an email with name on order and order number if you have it to info@charliesproject.com we will assist you. 

**Rip Off Report Complaints should require the actual persons name on the order and verify by receipt or credit card statement that an order was placed. We are unable to assist with reports using facticious names or are simply paid compaints to defane our company. These complaints are not verified as we have received offers to remove these unverified complaints for a fee of $25K.

 It is January 13th and I have never received leggings from these people. I ordered about 5 pairs. I too received the email saying that leggings production was delayed but that I would get them by the holidays, meaning Christmas. Recently, I emailed them. My email was delayed. Several days later my email was completely rejected. I have no idea how to get through to these people.
