Evelyn Berry Not the bank, but the people that purchase from you. Wilmington Delaware

I also have posted an item to sell from Craigslist.com and a woman by the name of Evelyn Berry contacted me and told me that she wanted to purchase my items. Please post sold on Craigslist, because she didnt' want to loose the items. She told me that she was sending me a money order and will have arrangements to pick up the items. She then informed me that her "assistant" who she fired, sent me the wrong checks, that were suppose to be sent to another merchant. So, she asked me to cash them, deduct my fee and then wire the money to an address in AFRICA. I received 4 "money order" checks from CANADA with the Chase Manhattan Bank Delaware address on it, but words were in French and English. Each money order was for $850.00 each..

I called Chase and wanted to find out if this was real, which I already knew that it wasn't. But the fact of the matter is that innocent people are trying to sell items and get these bogus checks from international territories. Even the FBI wouldn't get involved with this. They told me that they didn't have enough man power for all the scams that are out there..
So, to sum it up.. If it's too good to be true...IT IS
