I am a VERY concerned concerned credit card customer of Chase Bank. I'm the latest victim of their deceiving practices. There are hundreds of complaints of customers getting their due dates changed, not receiving statements and countless others all resulting in late charges and absurd interest rate hikes as much as 31.99%. (See Rip Off Report/Chase)

I have a 750 fico score and during the trasition of my WAMU acct over to Chase, they managed to deceptively change my payment due date 6 days EARLY than what is was at Wamu without notice. They are also scheming in other ways. For example, not sending statements, holding check deposits longer than normal to incur addtl late fees. With these late fees, everyone is hit with a default interest rate that is through the roof.

I was hit with a $39 fee and my 10% interest rate is now 29.99%. I was never sent a March statement nor was I sent literature about any changes.

I spoke to a floor supervisor at CHASE, I have her name and she openly admitted AND confirmed that ALL WAMU accts due dates were changed and a majority of them were changed and set ahead so people would default to the new APR resulting in 1000's of people paying fees and more interest. Furthermore, call center management is NOT allowed to do anything about it.

This would be an EXCELLENT story to inform good citizens of the very type of deceiving practices Barrack Obama is trying to prevent in these harsh economic times. Furthermore, it needs an investigation. I have emailed all local news channels as well.

PLEASE HELP STOP THIS BY INFORMING PEOPLE, call lawyers, call news channels... to bring awareness of this.
