Chaturbate.com cheated me of prizes I had won fair and square;when tried to explain their rules, kicked me off site City Location: San Francisco Postal: 94107 Area: 4 Internet

This story would almost be funny if it weren't so unbelievable and I found other similar cheating complaints aginst this company. This adult chat site sponsored a contest where tokens (purchased by my credit card) were purchased to bid on a single individual member with a clearly stated goal on the chaturbate site that the first person to reach 5000 tokens to this member would be declared the winner under Goal #1 and receive several hundred dollars worth of video equipment and a private session with the member.

As the bidding began it became apparent several of the bidders, the organizer, and the contestant member all knew each other and were bidding large numbers of tokens (e.g. 1000 at a time) and on a first name basis.   So I had to go back to my credit card 3 more times to buy more tokens.  I could see I had less money than these people so my only chance of reaching 5000 tokens first was to hold my remaining tokens until the bidding got to within about 145 tokens of 5000.  I watched closely (they had excellent software that kept track of bids, bidders, and total towards 5000) and then put my tokens in the box but waited to submit them till total was about 145 from 5000 and hit enter.  I won!  first person to 5000.  their software even printed a big red bold statement "congratulations translocation (my screen name), you have won the prizes for goal no 1 as the first person to reach 5000 bid tokens"   (I may not have exact words but they do, unless they deleted it)

I was busy celebrating with my friend who witnessed the whole thing when we suddenly realized that despite the statement, they continued to accept bids!  lots of bids, easily 20-25 min past the statement that I had won.  I couldnt get a word in edgewise.  Finally there was a break and I wrote "please wait;  I was the winner and your software made that statement but you let the bidding continue to make more money"    The biddee was reasonable and said oh yes, translocation won, but now these other 3 people raised more money.  what should we do, split it.   I thought that was reasonable and didn't want a big fight despite the fact they changed the rules in midstream so said ok.  But then this other very rude individual interceded when I pointed out the rules said first person to 5000 wins and that's me, and they have a record of the congratulations message.

This seemed to make him more irate so he sent me the top 4 money amounts (by then I was 4th because I stopped bidding when I got the congratulatory message) and said these people clearly raised more money; why do you think you won?  seriously, he said that.  so as I was trying to explain their rules said 5000 tokens wins and they didn't stop the bidding.  What did he do?  kicked me off the site so I couldn't explain their own rules.  he tried to make some bizarre comparison of me to a woman he kicked off because she was using some sort of electronic bidding mechanism that I knew nothing about.

I am still shaking my head and will try to stop my credit card charges but it may be too late.  they have no phone number and clearly no one has any problem with cheating and stealing there and the way to deal with it is to kick the person off the site.  Searching google, I found other serious cheating and stealing claims (their words) for this company.

I feel I am due  1) an apology   2)refund of all my token credit card charges since they didn't apply them to their own rules, or, give me the prizes I clearly won.  just because someone cheats and keeps bidding beyond the clearly stated goal is no reason to give them a prize.  A cheater's booby prize, maybe.

Please help.  I wish I had printed their email trail so they don't have a chance to alter it, but early on everything seemed legit.

PS   your software will not allow me to check both that I used a credit card and it was an online transaction but the answer to both is yes. thanks.
