Check Processing Bureau Enforcement Division Sending letters stating I wrote a bad check Ripoff New York New York

I have received nemerious letters from the Check Processing Bureau Enforcement Division stating that I owe $157.49 for a bad check that they claim I wrote.

I called them to ask that they send me a copy of the bad check, date it was written and the bank name. They could not provide me with any of this information.

I receive a Final Action letter today, April 19th,2007 stating that I made an payment plan agreement, which I never did and that there is a Civil and/or Criminal Warrant now in process in the State of Rhode Island.

I decided to do some investigating and found that this is in fact a scam.
