Chenoa Smith, Living Spirit Channel She didn't deliver the service she promised Los Angeles California

Money Map... Living Theories... Living Spirit... LiveAD... Gimme Viva... and now, it seems, Be Well Network.

This is 100% standard Chenoa Smith operation. She forms "companies" (sans business licenses or other required permits/etc.) and get people to work for her with the promise of huge investments rolling in and fuure pay. These people do their level best while Chenoa scams money from people (artists/authors/musicians/etc.) with promises of developing and promoting their products. Of course, she fails to deliver.

Then, when the heat gets a little warm, Chenoa informs everyone that she has a brand-new company (complete with big-name partnerships, all of which are nonexistent anywhere but Chenoa's imagination) and that their contracts have been "transferred." The people who worked for her go unpaid and Chenoa drags them through the mud, attacking their competence, hours worked, tax status, etc. and claiming she owes them a fraction of what is really owed (which of course she never pays.) And the artists, etc. who trusted her with their work? Hung out to dry. Ask for a refund? Get told to hire a lwayer. Question Chenoa? Endure petty little threats about legal action, blah blah as Chenoa has done with other Rip Off Reports. File a complaint? Endure even more threats, including Chenoa saying that her "contracts" are not consumer contracts. Well, Chenoa, the fact remains that you are a fraud and are ripping people off, so this is a perfectly valid forum to tell the world about your abuses.

Here is an example of someone (myself) asking questions of fellow authors and artists, EACH OF WHOM PAID CHENOA SMITH for work on their books and other products. I wrote this email verbatim after about a year of empty promises made regarding my own book manuscripts:

Dear fellow Living Theories authors,

I have heard from a few of you recently regarding concerns about Living Theories Publishing, our books, and the combined lack of communication and follow-through and constant admonishments to not ask too many questions and not "bother" people lest we be warned/dropped from the program.

I am going to share my experiences with Chenoa Smith and her companies and encourage you to do the same. We are all in this boat together and I for one think it's high time we come together and insist on accountability and deliverables from LTP. My idea is to gather your stories and create a combined email to LTP that will demonstrate a united front. What do you all think? And does anyone have anything positive to say regarding actual deliverables/goals met/etc?

My history with Chenoa Smith goes back to July of 2005 when I flew to Los Angeles to discuss becoming a speaker for her Money Map program. I was told to expect assignments that never came. Last fall, I was instructed to attend a critical training session that would lay out the expanded program at a state park in Malibu, California. I rented a car and drove 11 hours each way to and from Los Angeles from Ashland, Oregon, where I live. The "critical training session" consisted of sitting around a picnic table reading a PowerPoint presentation that we could just as easily have done on the phone, via WebEx, or some equally viable virtual method. I left there feeling more than a little let down.

When Chenoa announced Living Theories, I invested $4,600 in my 5 titles with the idea that my first two books would be available in time for the 2006 holiday season. I then invested at least an additional $750 in trade working for Chenoa's other company LiveAd, plus the nearly $600 in expenses for the pre-Emmy event in Los Angeles that turned out to be a total waste of time and effort (don't get me wrong, I loved meeting everyone present and enjoyed myself, but it did my publication/marketing efforts zero good). I am now out $6,000 with notihng to show for it.

I mentioned doing some work for Chenoa's other company, LiveAd (www.itsalivead.com). I saw several talented people doing some amazing work to build a fantastic infrastructure for a large company only see it falling apart because of lack of follow-through on Chenoa's part.

As far as I am concerned, Chenoa is 0 for 3 at this time: 0 speaking assignments, 0 publication deliverables, and 0 with her other company. Add that to the fact that she insists that she knows what she's doing plus her astonishing treatment of the authors (admonishing and lecturing us for daring to ask questions and voice concerns about a process we paid for) and I trust you all can see where I am gravely concerned.

I am not accusing Chenoa or anyone of dishonesty or fraud- at least not yet. I am voicing my growing concern, echoed by a growing number of you, about the "all talk and no action" happening with our sizeable investments.

If you feel the same way, or if you have anything to contradict what I am saying, please do respond. I encourage us al to share our stories with each other because, as I said, we are all in this boat together and have the right to know if that boat is sinking.

Within minutes, Chenoa SMith was on the phone making the exact smae threats she has made on this site, all in a playground bully tone of voice. And here, verbatim, is her reply to my email, also sent to all the people she was (and still is) defrauding:

We are so happy to provide get you feedback. However, acting out, aggression and combativeness will not be rewarded if you have a question or are in need of more help and support.

Yes, it is true that he worked for my other company because he had pitched me extensively to work for one of the other companies I owned.

It is also true that he was underqualified for the position and he along with another contractor were fired from Live AD, though we wanted to leave it on good terms to move forward with him in a capacity that he could be employed.

It also seems the Mr. Hxxxxxxxx was recently let go from Intuit and is undergoing a divorce, which seems to be stressful for him. However, this acting out is not okay under any standards is certainly illegal.

Also, correspondence like this is legally called slander when sent like this in an emotional heat that an unjustifiably damage the company's or persons reputation and business practices.

It is also true that we have been growing. And, this growth has been positive.

It is also true that we have had feedback from authors and artists that they would like to have more communication from us about our internal processes.

In fact, I was drafting a letter today to announce to all of you that we are implementing the following over the course of the next 30 days:

- Monthly account reviews
- Online account reviews
- Marketing plan process
- New yahoo groups with a live moderator for daily questions
- Open house in person and teleconference each month
- List of other support resources

We are also excited about the merger with Whole Life where we're already setting up major retail accounts including those with Discovery Channel!

All exciting news.

I played Chenoa's game and got a lawyer, per her request. She didn't reply.

I took her to court. She squeaked out on a technicality.

I went to mediation. We got an agreement. She violated it.

Chenoa Smith is a patholigcal liar and a career fraud artist. Period.
