I AGREE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

AUTHOR: CocoaNative - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 23, 2012

This place is a nightmare. Very high crime area, especially at night, with lots of crazy stuff going on. Yeah, the big sign says one price and the pump says another. Ten cents cheaper for cash, but who pays frigging cash for gas, unless you're buying 10 bucks worth.

I bought about $44 worth of gas there and later that evening my wife asked me why there was a $125 charge to Chevron on our credit card. I dunno, I sez, I bought 13 gals of gas. She calls the station and some rude Iranian or whatever yells, "No man! no man!" and hangs up on her. I call back and they hang up on me immediately (caller ID I guess). Just no excuse for that kind of rudeness. One of the wonderful benefits of multiculturalism.

The reason turns out (learned from contacting the card issuer to dispute the charge) is that some Chevrons charge about $125 immediately no matter what your purchase amount, and then it is lowered later. This was a credit card, so that is total B.S. -- and the reason I will never buy gas there, or any Chevron, ever again.
