Chicago Lenders REPOSSESSED MY CAR EVEN AFTER THEY TOLD ME THREE DIFFERENT AMOUNTS I OWED Mesa Arizona

I do not have the best credit, so unfortunatly my options were limited to this company. They do not do credit checks, instead you have a bi-monthly payment. I admit I have been late a couple of times but never over a month late. I called on a Monday afternoon and spoke to an employee and asked him the amount that was due on my account. He stated that I had a $50 credit on my account and verified this three times to be sure. So why pay them if I have a credit?

On Wednesday I received a call at work that I am $275 behind! I advised this new person of what I was told on Monday and of course Monday guy never documented! I asked them to send me a copy of all of the payments I have made to them. An hour later I get a call that since they have researched my account and I actually owe $415! They stated they received a money order ($200) and added it to my account and now someone else was claiming it. I'm sorry but can they count? I then asked to speak to the manager and was told that she was not in and would be back the following day.

So the next day me and my husband went in to speak to the manager and I was told she was not in and would be back the following day. So the following Monday I called and spoke to the manager. She NEVER let me speak and would always talk over me. I faxed her the proof that this was my money order (it had my name printed on it) and figured I would call her the next day to find out the status of my account. When I let work that day my car was gone. I called the police to verify if I needed to report it stolen and they advised me that there was no report of a repossesion.

I called Chicago Lenders and was told that indeed my car was repossesed for history of non payment. I was then told by yet another employee that the amount that was late was $150! And if I wanted the car back I would have to pay that as well as a repossesing fee and 1 month ahead on my payments, totaling $775! I decided to call the police again at 8:30pm to see if it had been reported yet and NO! The officers I spoke to were getting very upset with this towing company as they are required by law to report this as soon as they are out of harm's way.

So when I called Chicago Lenders the next day to speak to the manager she was again talking over me and told me this was none of my concern. The woman spoke down to me and when I asked for her bosses name and phone number she told me that she doesn't have a boss, that she was the last person I was going to speak to and then she said that she was done speaking to me and hung up! I called back and she stated that she needed to call me back in 20 minutes to let me know if she was even going to let me have my car back! She never called! By the way.. the only reason I can even supply their phone number and address is from their business card, there is no listing for them ANYWHERE!
