Prompt service and OK work quality, but promised refund for unused parts included in estimate was never received.  First told us "check is in the mail," then "we will drop off check," and finally "we can't return parts so no refund."  Did not return calls or emails.  Phone number in their email signature has been disconnected. 

Apparently a family business with various addresses and names (Jon/Chris Cerrito Jr./Sr., Chim Chimnee, Chimney Cricket, etc.), disconnected phone numbers, and lots of negative reviews!  Website claims membership in National Chimney Sweep Guild; when I contacted NCSG, ChimChimnee was not on their membership list.  Lesson:  Check online reviews; ask for references; do not prepay for parts!

This lady was totally unreasonable

 We did work for a company where this foreign lady works. She was our contact. We purchased materials and the whole job was $175.00. After spending 9 hours there and Upon completion she was very happy and said we did a great job. Then she asked why we didn't use an extra part. We explained we didn't need it we made everything work without that part. Then she said I paid for that part and she wanted a refund. She demanded a $80. refund. We told her she could keep the part, but we couldn't return it. She got extremely aggressive and was yelling and screaming at us in her foreign language. She was an employee of this company and was trying to impress her boss. Three guys worked there 9 hours and the other parts amounted to another $80. Total parts were $160. And total job was $175,00. So our three guys made $15. for 9 hours of work and three trips out there. This woman was totally unreasonable and we couldn't stop her yelling and swearing. We left her the $80. part and left. She called the office 15 times demanding for us to come and pick up this extra part and refund her $80.00. She smeared our name all over social media and totally continued to act insane over her $80.00. So we refunded her $80. But it was on a condition that she would retract all of her 20 deflamatory remarks all over social media. She agreed. We refunded her money then she reniged on her worthless word. This woman needs to be committed for psychological help.

From the ridiculous to the sublime...!
Today, the company president/owner actually phoned me, threatening to take legal action, and pressuring me to remove negative reviews of his company from the Web, saying they are "ruining his business."

He ended his phone call with "you will pay...you will pay dearly" in a clearly hostile tone. 

I encouraged him to simply refund the relatively-small amount of money owed, and to treat his clients more professionally.

   We completed a $280 great job for this customer Company that she works for. The materials cost $180 that we ordered and they were nonrefundable because they were all part of the package that we bought for this customer's job We did a great job for this woman she was extremely happy and we completed the job there were extra materials left over for the job and and we gave them to her but she said she didn't want them she wanted the $80 we explained to her that we couldn't return them and get an $80 credit back from the supplier and she got upset and belligerent and called us every day demanding her $80 refund The woman became extremely aggressive swearing yelling screaming and calling us daily so we told her that we would give her her $80 check back We told her to stop by the office and pick up a check in the meantime she wrote a bad review about us We ask her to remove the review and we would then give her her $80 check that was waiting at the office She never came in to the office to pick up the check and said she just wanted to leave the review the way it is and forget about the $80 refund check We ask that you please remove this negative information about our company the lady is mean and she is just trying to be mean and did not want to make things right All of the other companies that are included in this complaint are not involve with my company Chim Chimney Master Masonry. Including Chimney Cricket Franchising. Chimney Cricket etc. We do not have negative reports about our company and we do not want them. We have been in business for over 40 years and we have over 300,000 satisfied customers and we pride ourselves In doing a great job for people and making sure that they are happy Again I ask you to please remove this negative report about our company since we did absolutely nothing wrong.
