I was paid on Wed Jan 3rd direct deposit into my account and within an hour I got an email saying my telephone number had been updated and if I didn’t make the change to contact the bank I called immediately to find out someone fraudently logged into my account and transferred 618.35 from my account into theirs I told them this was not me someone had updated my personal information to their own and made this transfer fraudulently. They opened a claim and told me to they would get back to me I called the police and filed a police report the next day they denied my claim I advised them I was disputing their decision because I didn’t make this transfer I included the police report in my response and requested all the information they had in reference to this transaction. The police also reached out to the bank. At that point they contacted me and advised me within 10 days I would have all the information in reference to the transfer and it will take up to 45 days for them to make a decision.

I never received the information they closed my account with a remaining balance of 632$ and will not respond to me in reference to the claim or the funds that were in my account. I’ve contacted them 4 times since this has happened. Today I called the number on the back of the card and talked to a representative who advised me my claim was denied because the IP address was the same as I always use I asked why I hadn’t been provided any information because that’s a lie and I requested documentation and haven’t received it I requested a manager and was put on hold for 45 mins for the representative to tell me he spoke with his manager who contacted the fraud department and was advised that it’s still being investigated and I’ll receive a letter at this point that’s 1200 and no one will speak to me or send record of the transaction nor tel me what will happen or where the funds that were in my account have went I’m completely at a loss before this I’ve never complained or disputed a charge and have had a great relationship with Chime I’m completely in awe that they would drop the ball I have every email from them and the police I also have the police report
