I Needed to move, so I called chris Beebe. He said that he had a license & insurance (he lied).
He showed up late with only a pickup truck and 1 other guy. They were suppose to get a truck for my 1 bedroom house.

They both looked non-professional with baggy pants and dirty. They said that they could do the move faster with their pickup truck. They didn't wrap or protect anything...just threw my furniture into the pickup and once in a while, they would throw a dirty blanket onto the pile of my stuff.

They didn't secure it well and I saw everything moving as they took the first load to my new place (a short distance away). They talked more than they worked and the move took 3 times longer than it should have.

My furniture was damaged, boxes marked fragile were crushed and walls were scraped. They dropped a few things and when I asked if they were going to pay to repair the damage, they admitted that they didn't have insurance and that the furniture was already damaged before they got there.

They insisted that I pay them in cash and one of them even asked for a tip???
I payed them (after deducting for their talk time) and told them never to come back!

I wonder how many other people this guy has deceived with his
(("Duh, I'm a professional mover, Duh")) Scam??

He may be good at Non-Thinking type jobs, maybe digging a ditch...
...but after seeing him in person, i doubt it.

I Did Hire Him to move me!

AUTHOR: Laurie - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, March 18, 2011

Maybe he doesn't remember me, but I sure remember him.
The move wasn't very recent but after hearing from someone else who had hired him and had a "not very peasant" experience, all the bad memories came flooding back and that's why I filed this report.

I doubt that he can remember every single customer, but I assure you that He DID move me.
The items that his helper dropped were not broken, but they were dropped and could have broke.

There were scratches on stuff, I had to do some touch up paint on the walls and the job was not done professionally. As far as the truck is concerned, I realize that misunderstandings are possible but Chris should have gotten the truck that was needed...even if it meant delaying the move for an hour.

It did take longer than it should have and his helper DID ask for a tip!
Maybe I shouldn't have written that he was only good at non-thinking jobs...but that's the way I feel.

Next time I will hire a professional moving company.

This statement is not true!!!

I have never worked for a "Laurie" and I always show up clean and professional. If a truck is needed I would get that. I never demand anything especially a tip. I have fixed anything I have ever scratched and never broken anything. I mean, just look at this report and tell me that this is not a bogus one.
