Lafferty Motorsports is a NASCAR Camping World Truck series team who has worked hard to help those drivers who ordinarily would not have an opportunity in racing.
Yes, we do charge a driver to test with us but instead of the cost being $25,000 (this is what every other team charges) we only charge $1,500. We can only do this with the help of our sponsors.

We even further discounted our program to Mr. Mezen to a mind blowing $1,000 (that a further discount of 33%) since he provided creative input for our upcoming TV show titled "The Lafferty Chronicles, an American Dream", that was set to air in late 2008 but has been pushed to a 2009 airing due to economic reasons.

Our drivers are all required to help generate their own potential sponsor leads that are to be e-mailed in a specific format to - LaffertyMotorsports@hotmail.com - from there we at Lafferty Motorsports are glad to continue with a lead until it's completion to help get our drivers on the track.

Tim has provided approximately 4 leads that we have followed up on with no success, but as explained in our marketing meeting with Mr. Mezen as well as with all of our drivers 8 out of every 10 leads will end with a NO! Which means a driver must continue to push, and kick every door open they can.

We at Lafferty Motorsports spend countless hours with no compensation chasing sponsors for our drivers which does not leave us a lot of time to spend "chit-chating" on the phone, and we do apologize for that. We feel that our time is better spent helping our drivers achieve their goals wrather than "chit-chatting".

We do understand Tim's frustrations, because the racing business is a tough business to crack, but for those who spend time hustling to make,....THEY WILL !

As of this writing Lafferty Motorsports just returned from Martinsville Virginia where we helped Dillon Oliver realize a dream and made it come true. Dillon Oliver made his NASCAR Camping World Truck series debut with Lafferty Motorsports finishing 30th and gaining the respect from NASCAR and some of the biggest name drivers in the business.

Racing is a tough business where as person's will is tested every turn. Only the strong survive and out of millions of driver only 36 will get the call to race each NASCAR Truck race. It is not an impossible feat but it does take falling down to build the will that it takes to make it.

We truely like Tim and have no ill will towards him and would love to continue helping him, but we are a helping hand not a hand out.
