CIC Credit Manager ripoff scam fruad Internet

Like others i have read about i signed up for the 30 days FREE trial on Privacy Guard - i did get my report and cancelled within 10 days after i received the report online.

A week after I cancelled, I noticed a charge on my bank account of $9.95 for CIC CE Credit Manager - I called the company to get a refund and was told i would receive a refund within 10 business days.

A month later, a second charge of $9.95 on my account - so i called the bank who insisted that i call the company again, get the name of the person i speak to and confirmation of my cancellation. I told the bank i highly doubted they would send me anything, but they said i needed to do this to document my contact.

So i called them again, asked for the rep's name and was told JD (i asked for his name and he said that was his name) he gave me his 'corporate id' number and then proceeded to tell me that my account had never been cancelled and that i would receive a refund for one of the charges and that my account was now cancelled. When i asked for confirmation, he said it would be emailed, which i never did receive this email.

Good luck to all in getting this thing stopped - i will add my story to any class action law suit against this fraudulent company!
