CIC CREDIT MONITOR ripoff, 79.95, credit report, unauthorized charge, false, scam Orange California

I spotted an unathorized charge for $79.95 today (May 6, 2003) from CIC Credit Monitor.

This company maked its business from these charges. I found their number on this site, through another complaint (877-513-4175), and called them up to see what it is about.

The told me that I had not cancelled my "subscription" so it had automatically renewed itself, thus the $79.95 charge.

I complained to the customer representative and requested a full refund and cancellation of my subscription.

She proceeded to do so and told me I should expect my refund in my account in 7-10 days. Let's wait and see what happens. I will keep you posted.

To anyone that this happens, call immideatly and complain. Ask for a refund for this unathorized charge, but be sure to call them: (877)513-4175.
