CIC Credit MOnitoring Services ripoff - here's help! California

I received some unauthorized charges on my account from CIC Credit Monitoring Services. They were for $9.95 for the past two months. I spoke to my bank & she was able to give me the toll free number for them. I called and spoke to somoene, and while they were trying to do the "hard sell" to keep me as a customer, I kept repeating "No thank you, I want my account terminated as of today." She finally agve in & told me it would be closed as of the 21st of this month. I will definitely be checking my bank statement.

I wanted to give everyone the number that I used, since there are many complaints here that there is not a number listed. The toll free number is 1-800-220-2626. Hope this helps! I will report back to make sure mine was removed from my account.
