Circuit City, Siemens Rebate Ripoff Tampa Florida

Watch out for those mail in rebates. I purchased a router from a Circuit City store in Tampa that included a mail-in-rebate for $20 from Siemens, the manufacturer of the router.

Well the check I got from Siemes 10 weeks later was only for $10. I called the number on my reciept and the guy basically told me to bug off because according to his database, the rebate was only for $10 (and there's no way his database is wrong), despite what the newspaper and and the reciept said (and I still have them)- both say $20 rebate.

I know $10 isn't much money, but it's 25% of the total cost. I specifically chose this router becuase after rebates it was $10 cheaper than another store.

Also, Circuit City sells computers with rebates woth hundreds of dollars a pop. So just be weary, and look at the total cost, don't assume you're gonna get those rebates back.
