Citi Card has a lot of different offers out there with incentives that tie to American Airlines. The one I fell for involves "receiving" a free companion fare on American TEN WEEKS after you spend a certain amount on your card. I have called, and called, and called and there is no end in sight.

I wrote their on-line customer help center which replied that I will receive it in two billing cycles. Crazy. I want my time back.

Don't fall for these "get 20,000 American Advantage Miles" free scams. I have always known Citi Card/Bank, whatever to offer horrible customer service and wish I hadn't have bothered. Don't need the hassle.
