CitiFinancial Mortgage is the worst company to use. It started with my parents getting an Equity Line of Credit for 20,000 dollars over 10 years ago through Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo soon sold the loan to CitiFinancial Mortgage. After a few years paying on the loan to my parents had to file a Chapter 13 Bankrupcy on 11/04/2002. Well the Bankrupcy Court had a designated Lawyer who sent the payments to CitiFinancial. Once the Bankrucy was Discharged on 5/31/07 my parents had to send the payments directly to CitiFinancial and for a few months, everything went well and then one day she received a letter stating that she had no account with them. After contacting serveral people it was resolved. Then again months later the same thing. For the past several years it has been a nightmare. They never sent them a payment coupon and stated this is because during and after a bankrucy, they dont escate payment coupons for the customers and they just gave my parents the account number and address of where to send the payments. They are continuously losing their account number which means they send my parents back their payments stating NO ACCOUNT number found here. Finally I got a women who worked in the Bankrupcy Dept. and was a Bankruptcy Specialist. This was over a year ago. She sent my parents a letter and found my parents account and told us that once the Chapter 13 was discharged that their account then went to a different department. When she located the account ,she asked that my parents send copies of all money orders and check that were sent in and cashed. This women who I can not no longer locate also sent my parents a payment history and stated in a letter that she apologized staying that upon examination of the payment history, they were able to locate $3960.00 which was incorrectly applied to another account and was now applied to my parents account. My parents checks that were sent to Citifinancial Mortgage have been cashed for the last year. Here again August 2008, my parents received a letter from Citi Mortgage stating that no account number is found and payment has been sent back. Mind you during this processs, a couple of years ago, one of CitiFinacial's other customers had received one of my parents personal checks, in which was sent to him by mistake and the fine gentlemen sent it to my parents stating he didn't know why it went to him. Also come to find out that the man's account was exact to my parents. Looking back at all the information my parents kept, it is stressing me out because all those names and numbers that I received some sort of help from are no longer in service. I have copies of money orders, checks that I have faxed them showing my payments and letters from them. This is just a brief example of what this company is good for. They are stressing my family out and I didn't realize how many people this is affecting until today. I was trying to find a good number or name to contact online and I found this report and started reading about how this company is screwing any people.
